Time and again I see recommendations that one should speak to an MPN specialist or someone else on one's care team - and I have a quiet chuckle and just carry on with my life. Hay fever with Paroxysmal AF
Good afternoon,I think, for the first time ever, that I've developed hay fever this year. I currently take 1.25 of Bisoprolol & 2mg of Candestartan for high blood pressure and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. Can I safely take hay fever tablets? The pharmacist has said that there's no reactions between

Will I still need tablets after stent?
Just a quick query. Soon I will be getting a stent on a major blockage which seems to be causing my mild angina. I'm currently taking Bisoprolol fumarate and Ranexa to counter angina symptoms. After getting the stent can I expect to stop taking the two tablets or does it vary from person to person

Taking Flecainide with Bisoprolol
When I was first diagnosed with AF a few years ago I was told to use the "pill in the pocket" approach to terminate an episode by using bisoprolol and flecainide - the flecainide 20 minutes after the bisoprolol. Now, for the last year I've been on bisoprolol 1.25mg daily and just take the occasional

I have had several episodes of chest pain and palpitations. I take statins and now 50gms of Losartin for hypertension. Also 1.25 of Bisoprolol 3 times a day.The pain and palpitations are decreasing but I feel tired a most of the time and my strength is declining. Exercise is becoming a real effort. I

Coming off Ticagrelor
Question - does anyone on the forum have experience of coming off Ticagrelor medication and experienced any complications from doing so? The background to my query is below: It's almost three years since my major heart attack, 12 July 2020 - I remember it well. I am currently on a fairly common combination

Low respiration rate
Anyone know anything about respiration rates? Supposed to be between 12 and 20 I think but mine seems more like 10. Is that the beta blocker? Also wondering about bisoprolol dosage and bodyweight. I am on 2.5 daily but am quite small and know much larger men on same dose. Am feeling it might be too much

Blood pressure tablets Bendroflumethiazide
I've been prescribed this drug by my GP, and also Bisoprolol for fluid retention and high BP. I wonder if they will cause problems with my RLS. I had Furosimide some time ago, which I had to discontinue. I'm struggling to find medication for these two problems. I know Sue that you gave me a list of

Bisoprolol/Doxazosin (tight chest/breathless)
Recently I have been prescribed 3.75mg Bisoprolol and 1mg Doxazosin. After a few days of taking the combined medication , if I walked a few yards I would get tight chest and shortness of breath. It is so severe I feel like I am going to suffocate and pass out. I

Ablation for ventricular tachycardia
When I've posted here before over the last 8 years it has been about my own fairly benign AF, which needed a second cardioversion a few months ago. This time, I'd welcome your advice for my wife, who has patiently put up with my moans and groans, and herself went into ventricular tachycardia a couple
