When I was first diagnosed with AF a few years ago I was told to use the "pill in the pocket" approach to terminate an episode by using bisoprolol and flecainide - the flecainide 20 minutes after the bisoprolol.
Now, for the last year I've been on bisoprolol 1.25mg daily and just take the occasional flec when the afib kicks off.
I was just wondering if I'm meant to be taking an extra bisoprolol 20 mins before the flec, as it's not clear on the instructions?

The flecainide is supposed to be the PIP not both. That said 1.25mg is a very small maintainance dose so whilst I would not recommend doing anything without discussing with your doctor, nothing bad should happen if you did .
