Has Bisoprolol done this?
Hi all! im slightly confused but also at the end of my tether, with anxiety. I can’t sleep. Am sick all the time. Have awful sweating episodes, and all the typical that comes with anxiety. It’s horrible, as many of you will know. I can’t think of the sudden cause, but have a theory. I’m anxious

Hi everyone, Late yesterday morning I had a surprise phone call from my preferred Pharmacy down here at the pointy end of Cornwall. Boots. Well, a surprise for me. So I thought I'd just share this with you all although it really only has relevance to those of you in Britain. Following discussions

Bisoprolol/flecanide/amytriptiline
Looking for some advice. I've been on varying doses of Bisoprolol for 2 years now, hate the stuff, feel lethargic and foggy headed and seem unable to lose weight, despite the fact I keep the dose as low as I can. The arrhythmia nurse did try changing it to verapamil and that led to the only AF episode

What AF looks like on an ECG
For those told they have AF and trying to make sense of an ECG, I thought that I'd post a copy of my ECG. I have permanent AF but thankfully without symptoms so it has no effect on my life other than having to take 1.25mg of Bisoprolol and 60 mg Edoxaban every day. This is what my ECG always looks

Day 1 of taking 2.5mg of bisoprolol and 60mg edoxaban...how quickly should the tablets start to work? Monitoring blood pressure and worried if the dosage is too high

Atrial Fibrillation problem
I was first diagnosed with AF almost 20 years ago and am on medication since then. I am in AF all the time and on Bisoprolol 10mg and Edoxaban. In the last few weeks, I have felt my heart BPM have been faster and more erratic than usual. In the last few days it seems to have got worse, going up to 166

Dosage Metropolol/Bisoprolol how low?
I recently visited my cardiologist and everything going ok, I advised him that I’d reduced my Metoprolol from 12.5mg morning and night to about 8mg. The equivalent in Bisoprolol is about .8mg. I asked if it still does something or should I stop taking. His answer was that its very small amount but it

Sudden High Heart Rate
After two and a half years of investigations, 2 cardioversions and two ablations, I was finally pronounced free of af in April this year albeit with some 14% ectopic beats as shown on my last 48 hour Holter monitor. My heart rate was between 50 and 60 regular bpm, I was exercising again and I thought

Following previous posts on this forum I have now, over a few months, decreased my Ropinirole from 8 tablets per day to 1 1/2 and will be decreasing to 1 per day on the 19th August when I will begin my Pregabalin treatment as suggested by Sue. Can you give me any indication how long it will take for
