Late 2019 had stent to LAD following full blood clot occlusion and heart attack (did not arrest). I was diagnosed with LVSD in a later echo and advised had EF of 40. Another echo about a year later and EF still same. Since July 23rd this year have been experiencing constant AF (all day and night without my regular pulse making any sign of reappearing). Am awaiting cardiology clinic appt and have been placed on Apixaban (in addition to my existing meds comprising bisoprolol and ramipril). I stopped taking my statins in May. I get breathless after even very moderate exertion and do sense a slight “heaviness” in the chest when this occurs. My “normal” BP (average of many measurements taken over the last year) was around 125/75 - now it is averaging around 112/80 - although these latter readings taken out of context would indicate my BP is “optimal” the fact is my “normal” BP has gone down by at least 10 units. Am anxious what impact the AF will have on my existing LVSD and heart failure measurement.
Forgot to mention - my heart rate currently averaging around 97 (used to be 65)

Hi I had a HA in April and have had 'funny beats since' which drive me mad! I have seen the specialist and he said this is common after HA and nothing to worry about....easier said than done as it feels horrible and scares me! I have tried not to get so anxious about them and seem to help but it does feel so bad and mine happen all the time I don't have a normal HR. I also find things I drink Water especially makes it worse so have stopped drinking that! Please try not to get worried but get the support you need.
