Hi all, I’m newly diagnosed with AF, it was initially picked up by my Fitbit in August then again in September. I started on Bisoprolol 2.5mg and Apaxiban 5mg twice a day in October. As far as I understand AF is a very fast heart rate, mine was 174, since starting the Bisoprolol my resting HR is now

Post stent weakness
So I had my stent for angina last July. It did not make much difference and I have been put onto Ranexa along with aspirin, clopidogrel, atorvastatin, bisoprolol, amlopidine, lansoprazole and finasteride. The Ranexa seems to have done the trick and the main angina symptom, burning chest sensation when

Hi all I’ve been on Apixaban 5mg twice a day and Bisoprolol 2.5mg for six weeks. Last night I had sickness and diorrreah. I’m wondering if I should take my meds as normal this morning, I also take two blood pressure tablets Olmesartan 20mg and Lercanidipine 10mg. It seems a lot of tablets on an empty

Palpitations
Hi all. Just had a horrible weekend , fast irregular heart rate, lasted over 1 hour . Of course it had stopped by the time I was monitored, so they didn't really have any record . Spent 2 nights in EAU wired up , lots of ecgs bloods etc. They reassured me it wasn't a heart attack . The flutters continued

Hi All, Had heart attack/ stent fitted 10 weeks ago & still struggling with side effects of medication. Dropped down to 1 Bisoprolol instead of 2 & this temporarily stopped the dizzy spells & light headedness. But within a couple of weeks they were back again & I just feel like crap most of the time

Side effects with Bisoprolol
Hi all, I was put on bisoprolol a week ago and I'm having some side effects. The pain from my spinal stenosis, arthritis and fybromyalgia has got a lot worse, I've even less energy than before, I'm more breathless and just feeling really rubbish. Has anyone else had this problem with them and did it

sorry, me again with another question
After a cardio version does anyone still stay on bisoprolol . Paul is on 2.5 mg now but his heart rate is averaging mid to late fifties . I’m just wondering if he needs to be on a lower dose or it’s ok as his heart is resting . His walking average on his watch is 75 which is great compared to mid 100s
