So I had my stent for angina last July. It did not make much difference and I have been put onto Ranexa along with aspirin, clopidogrel, atorvastatin, bisoprolol, amlopidine, lansoprazole and finasteride. The Ranexa seems to have done the trick and the main angina symptom, burning chest sensation when walking, has dissipated. The theory is that I have microvascular angina.

Now I have an unpleasant feeling of muscular weakness. Not tiredness but similar to the feeling of weakness you get when you haven't eaten for a long time.

Has anyone else encountered this weakness? Is it possible that an adjustment of the drugs might help?

I'm a year older than you and I am on 3 of the meds your on. I had 6 stents put in in 2018 and I have been ok. One of the meds I was originally prescribed made me short of breath, can't remember which it was but once I change I was fine.
