advice needed
I was also told that a
biopsy
showed that I had oedematous colonic mucosa in the ascending colon and rectum. I have no clue what this is. GP said I needed to contact hospital where I had colonoscopy done - they are not replying to my emails (I’ve now sent 3).

So unsure what to do...
We immediately scheduled a
biopsy
and cancer was found. The urologist immediately told me that based on my age, he felt that I should get a prostatectomy. I left the office feeling so sad and so scared and I having a tough time deciding what would be the best treatment for me.

consultant Gastroenterologist
A phone call yesterday from a consultant Gastroenterologist was very unsuccessful! It lasted less than 5 mins! I explained my symptoms and what my last blood tests results were and I am indeterminate B12 deficient (as per March 24 N.I.C.E guidlines); I also explained it may be my gastric band that’s

Prednisone and Intralipids
NKC: slightly raised NKCs in

and blood tests. Consultant wants to prescribe Prednisone 20mg and intralipids for this next time. For anyone else who has had Prednisone for implantation failure: 1) Did it work for you? 2) What was your dose? 3) Did it cause weight gain?

Advice on biopsy
The person doing the scan said they could see it had calcified and it would need a
biopsy
. She spoke to the ent today who said as its only 9mm and not 10mm they can't do a
biopsy
and will just send her for a yearly scan. What the hell?? Is that normal?? #

Bladder Cancer Update and More. UPDATE.
Back in January I was diagnosed with problems with my spine as below. "x rays shows OA throughout loss lumbar lordosis" I posted at the time being my spine is affected, would that affect me being able to have a spinal (Epidural) when I have a Cystoscopy? I said at the time I would consult my GP and

Trying to get to retirement before HT
My PSA level before the
biopsy
was 8.1, and my Gleason Score was 4+4. Fortunately, there are no signs of metastases. Although my treatment hasn't started yet, it's likely that I'll begin radiation therapy in early December.

Change in low grade diagnosis -to high grade ovarian carcino sarcoma?
I am 47 years old and am nearly 4 weeks post cyto-reductive surgery for stage 3C ovarian cancer -
biopsy
prior to surgery showed it was low grade serous ovarian cancer (lgsoc) and I had been getting my head round that diagnosis.

Possible GCA and Treatment Questions
Should I have quickly transferred to another hospital that could have done the

Leukemia as a side effect of Olaparib
After 3 months I'll have a bone marrow
biopsy
to see if going off olaparib is really what caused it. I'm crushed. I may be approaching that tiny category of patient who gets AML as a side effect of my "life saving" olaparib. Is anyone else here with me? Or heard of anyone else who is?

Need Help With Foods
I still have not had the
biopsy
and trying to avoid Having it bc I can’t go back to eating gluten everyday. I feel so incredibly terrible right now - so exhausted and worn down. I don’t know for sure but suspect it’s a gluten reaction.

but seems based on
biopsy
/MRI/PSMA not DRE. Anterior TZ tumors are not even palpable, right? First uro was uncommunicative, pushy and only recommended his TP
biopsy
. Did not even do DRE. I changed uros. Second uro: did his suggested TP
biopsy
. He did DRE but didn't say what he felt.

Gleason downgraded by JH
After my initial MRI came back showing a Pi-Rad 5 in left side, I had a
biopsy
which came back G 7 (3+4). Two cores were (20%, 30%) and two others were (5%, 60%) - all on left side. Evidence of perineural invasion.
