Prednisone and Intralipids

Hi everyone, so I went ahead with the Quartet of tests (ERA, EMMA, ALICE and NKC) and results were as follows:

ERA showed I was post receptive so transfer needs to be a day earlier next time.

EMMA & ALICE: need a course of vaginal probiotics but no infections present.

NKC: slightly raised NKCs in biopsy and blood tests. Consultant wants to prescribe Prednisone 20mg and intralipids for this next time.

For anyone else who has had Prednisone for implantation failure:

1) Did it work for you?

2) What was your dose?

3) Did it cause weight gain? (Greater than expected for first trimester of pregnancy)

I had prednisolone 20mg and intralipids after 1 failed FET and 5 natural miscarriages and it worked for me! No weight gain or side effects and it worked for me. Now trying it again with transfer next week to hopefully get a brother for my son! Good luck! I would say take prednisolone in morning as can affect sleep if take it later in day and take with food as can make feel a little sick! X

I had prednisolone and it didn’t cause any problems.I would agree to take it with food and in the morning. We also had the era and I needed an extra day medication. Our next transfer following these worked xxx
