Microscopic colitis associated with RA
A
biopsy
is needed to confirm MC and then the treatment of steroids. You may wonder why I'm telling you this but there are surely some of you with RA associated MC or going through various tests if you are having bowel problems.

Frustrated, stressed and finally starting Ruxolinitib sometime soon.
I had my
biopsy
under anaesthetic and this was not offered on the NHS. I stayed with the original specialist and was not referred back to a MPN specialist team on the NHS.

Gynecology appointment update
I have to go for a hysteroscopy the doctor thinks the thickening in my womb is lack of hormone or was due to the HRT I was taking previously, she also may do a
biopsy
to make sure all is fine. She has prescribed me vagifem 10mg to be inserted into my vagina.

Update on skin lesions
He did a
biopsy
but it was not in the first 24 hours so the results were not definitive. He increased my prednisone to 40 mg for four days and the lesions healed leaving behind some patches of purporae.

Pegasys Update 1.0
So, I started with a fresh pair of eyes in May 2023 and the dreaded bone marrow
biopsy
. Which although unpleasant wasn't as painful as feared. The BMB showed nothing unexpected. My allele burden was 24%. I also got a free upgrade from ET to PV (sorry if that sounds flippant).

If it’s not one thing, it's another! Update
Also had a copy letter from Gynaecology unit following the hysteroscopy/
biopsy
appointment last week. It showed I have a thickening to the uterus wall in certain areas. Now have to wait for
biopsy
results. Oh well they do say “patience is a virtue “🤔

My 2nd opinion Oncologist
Four Options
: 1) Do nothing, take a break...Which I am going to do for 2 months at least. 2) Do a
biopsy
, but currently I show no signs of recurrence. 3) Do Chemotherapy 4) Do Hormonal Therapy, aka Tamoxifen.

Newly diagnosed Myelofibrosis Stage 2
In May this year I had a bone marrow
biopsy
and it was discovered my ET has progressed to Stage 2 Myelofibrosis. I was put on Ruxolitinib which works well for me and is definitely a much better drug than Hydroxycarbamide.

My husband, 75, overweight w/Watchman, was dx'ed late Nov. w/what was originally classified as Favorable Risk Intermediate after random
biopsy

cost of Forteo, Tymlos, Evenity, Prolia in USA
In addition I need a
biopsy
for breast lump. Ugh. So I’m faced with choosing a new osteoporosis drug. Besides the side effects they all seem to have, I’m considering the cost as we are self-employed and carry Marketplace insurance.

How can one person be so Lucky?
Went through
biopsy
, it is pancreatic cancer Stage 1B or 2A. As I have come to find out Pancreatic Cancer is the worst cancer a person can get and the only way it is cured is to remove the tumor before it metastasizes.

Colonoscopy report
I have to wait 6 weeks for the
biopsy
results, but the sites were random because it all looked normal. It's to check for microscopic colitis. I am pleased though that I didn't have sedation.

To Bone marrow biopsy or not to bone marrow biopsy that is the question.
So if it can develop into leukaemia anyway is there any point in getting the
biopsy
done? Or should I just let things take their natural course and enjoy myself without worrying about medical appointments etc.

High volume, advanced metastatic prostate cancer
We did not have a
biopsy
done on the prostate and never saw a urologist because his cancer was found in the ER we were sent directly to an oncologist. He is treated at the VA and his MO is great. He said this is the #1 cancer they treat.
