Gynecology appointment update

Good Morning Just giving you an update after my gynecology appointment 12th October at the hospital. I have to go for a hysteroscopy the doctor thinks the thickening in my womb is lack of hormone or was due to the HRT I was taking previously, she also may do a biopsy to make sure all is fine. She has prescribed me vagifem 10mg to be inserted into my vagina. When she examined me on Thursday it was very painful due to the dryness in that area. So I am going to get some lubricant gel to help insert the medication. Just got to wait for my appointment now. After insertion of the vagifem last night the tablet fell out this morning and had not dissolved. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy your day

Hysteroscopy can be very uncomfortable. I've had two. Try and take pain relief before you go.

Thank you for your kind reply means the world to me. I will take your advice greatly appreciated. I am struggling with vagifem pessery tablets at the moment. Had 2 doses internally sunday and yesterday today I have tummy cramps headache, nausea, dizzy, dry eyes and a burning sensation down below. But not a cystitis type pain. I suffer from endometriosis. I think I will miss the pessery tonight

It can take several hours for Vagifem to dissolve but…sometimes it can fall out intact.

This link mentions using a moisturiser to help it stay in place while dissolving ..
