If it’s not one thing, it's another! Update

Following on from the previous post, I had my appointment with the Ophthalmology Surgical Unit yesterday.

Basically appeared to be a couple of pre-op tests to take measurements of my eyes.

I’ve been given a contact number to call in a day or two to find out where on the waiting list I am. Hopefully getting a date for the vitrectomy (macular hole repair in my eye). Not sure if that’s a further step forward or false hope.

Also had a copy letter from Gynaecology unit following the hysteroscopy/biopsy appointment last week. It showed I have a thickening to the uterus wall in certain areas. Now have to wait for biopsy results.

Oh well they do say “patience is a virtue “🤔

Hope your biopsy results are good, and that you don't have to wait too long for your eye surgery. x
