Third Round

Hi Everyone,

Currently on ubiniquol, dhea, folic, vit D and melatonin.

I’ve had two two cycles with a failed fresh transfer after each cycle.

This time round,

I have just started the buserelin on day 21 and thrown in a endometrial scratch.

I couldn’t get over the fact that even though I had low grade blastocysts that they did not implant (hence the e.scratch).

My husbands had the SOS test and everything is normal (he’s taking Wellman conception).

I had a TSH and Vit D test, vit D was slightly low in which I’ve upped my dosage.

With this being our final round, we’ve thrown in the zymot test (filters the better sperm on day of egg collection) and embryogen (culture mimics the natural fluids).

I was wondering anyone else have this or these add ons?

Or any tips are more than welcome.

I am about to start round 5, and am taking all of the above too!! My new clinic have told me to eat a Mediterranean diet too! good luck ❤️

I struggled last time, as I did everything right and couldn’t come to terms with no outcome. This time round we are throwing everything at it.

Yeah I totally get that. I felt the exact same! It’s so tough isn’t it. I’m doing one last round with my own eggs, we are trying a different protocol focussing more on implantation this time as never had a bfp! Good luck to you, i have everything crossed xxxx

Same here, no implantation. Are you on the long protocol? Are you having/had the endometrial scratch? We want to have our own too, it’s a harsh journey with a rollercoaster of emotions but we are strong and makes you realise what you can get through. Thank you 🙏 it means a lot to me xxxx

It’s so so harsh!! We are opting for the scratch this time for sure, we haven’t yet! My best protocol is short antagonist, so 375 ovaleap a day. Although they are focussing more on implantation so will try a few different injections and some antibiotics. I think be honest if this doesn’t work again it will be donor egg next step. Do you always get blasts and have you have any in the freezer? We always get cavitating blasts so very early and never any to freeze!! Xx

That’s why we said this may be our last go. We’ve ploughed so much money into our cycles. Yes it’ll be worth if it works but if it don’t… Have you looked into ERA? My endometrium has a trilaminar appearance which is a good sign. Consultants are not worried about my lining.

I guess everyone’s different and different protocols work differently.

The embryologist did say if my blasts are low grade what makes me think they’ll implant? Brutal but true (me saying yes transfer two - holding onto any little hope).

So always got to the blasts stage but low grade. They mentioned something about fragmentation- possible egg or sperm quality… this time we are both on vits as mentioned…

My consultant did say he’ll test my progesterone level on the day of trigger…

Yes, we were told the same! Either egg or sperm issue, more likely egg though for me, so we went for a second opinion and will try it one last time before DE!! I have everything crossed for you, keep me updated!! Xx
