Strengthening bones
HI All! Researching what I can do for my bones to help. I have had my fill of zoledronic acid and zometa. Currently on a break from them. My Onco. went 2 years on, then 3 years off, then 2 years on…to preserve my jaw. I am current of for another year and a half before she will consider another round

NMDA and AMPA are both synthesized chemicals that activate glutamate receptors, they incite glutamate excitotoxicity
This begs the question - if these are not naturally occurring substances in our body - how the hell did they get into our brains? And what can we do about it? NMDA is not an endogenous (native) substance. It's not found in our body tissue but rather synthesized as an excitotoxin for research into NMDA

Neurotoxins: Free Radical Mechanisms and Melatonin Protection against Molecular Mutilation
Can neurodegenerative diseases be anything other than exposure to toxic substances? Bisoprolol and Sleep.
Does anyone have issues with sleep when taking Bisoprolol? Been on it for 8 years since HA in 2015 and my sleep is not great, principally early morning waking. I know these beta blocker drugs can affect melatonin levels. My question is, is there a ‘better’ beta blocker that doesn’t affect melatonin/

Good Sleep Provides Benefits in the Morning
A few months ago, I was persuaded by Art's (Chartist's) posts to try high nightly doses (80+ mg) of melatonin. My sleep is much better and I have also felt completely normal while unmedicated for a couple of hours after waking up. Maybe it's coincidental for me, but there appears to be a correlation

Melatonin production affected by this gut bacteria : ENTEROBACTER AEROGENES
Here, we demonstrate at least one species of commensal bacterium from the human gastrointestinal system, Enterobacter aerogenes, is sensitive to the neurohormone melatonin, which is secreted into the gastrointestinal lumen, and expresses circadian patterns of swarming and motility.Jan 11, 2016 https

Timing for Prednisone
I have been taking my Prednisone in the morning and would like to switch to bedtime if it won’t interfere with sleep. I now take 10mg and I am using 15mg Melatonin before bed. This is for GCA. Any advice?

Sleep or Lack Thereof
My 5 year old has had sleep issues since he was 3 months old. We’ve been to every sleep doctor, pulmonologist, sleep trainer, DP, witch doctor, you name it and even after surgery to remove a 75% blockage of his sinus cavity, he’s averaging maybe 4-5 hours of sleep a night, mostly broken because he wakes

Anyone tried ThyroLux supplements for Hashimotos or can recommend a different thyroid medication/ supplement
Iam looking at trying ThyroLux it seems to get good reviews but not sure if women are taking it for a supplement or whether it will actually be able to be used long term as a supplement to help control Hashimotos and keep TSH under control? It does have iodine in it so bit wary as I have felt more hypo

Update on PSA with Xtandi--it has gone down!
Update on my PSA, July it was .01 19 Oct 2022 -----PSA is less than .01 I am very thankful. I do not have any bone pain. I still have some side effects from chemo, like neuropathy on my right foot. Still have some lymphoedema to deal with, and I have some inflammation. (I think from Xtandi. ) Xtandi

How to travel to Europe with medication and supplements?
Hello, I am hoping to go with my family to Europe but I worry I won’t be able to because am dependent on sleep aids. I take 20 mg of melatonin and have recently started to need CBD with 1 gram of THC to sleep. Without these, the likelihood of never falling asleep at all is great. We have promised
