Update on my PSA, July it was .01
19 Oct 2022 -----PSA is less than .01 I am very thankful. I do not have any bone pain. I still have some side effects from chemo, like neuropathy on my right foot. Still have some lymphoedema to deal with, and I have some inflammation. (I think from Xtandi. )
Xtandi has helped bring my PSA down, I have a little brain fog, the biggest SE is, it has changed my sleeping routine. I wake up very early most days, I take it about 7:30 in the evening. If it take it later than that, then I have bit of brain fog hanging on the next day. I have tried Melatonin, it put me to sleep, but hangs on into the next day also longer than without it. (Any advice on the sleep let me know) So I keep going, keep active, keep working, walking and I am trusting and praying to the Lord that my PSA can stay down for a long time. The Lord only knows.
But over all I feel good. Again, I try to keep my focus, on what I have, not what I do not have.
I trust as we go into the thanksgiving season in the US, it can be a time for us to think about our gratefulness regardless of this "ugly beast" we deal with everyday.
Again thanks to everyone for all your experiences and advice on this journey! I read on this forum quite a bit.
blessings to all
Keith
