Lapsed graduate, just starting the program again

I have just finished week 2...second time around! I graduated over 2 years ago, then lapsed due to a bereavement. I did restart a year back and did a 5k but lapsed again straight afterwards. Now, with a spare tyre where my waist should be, I'm determined to try and get back to fitness again. I've found restarting harder than I imagined, maybe because I'm older. I'm filled with as much, if not more, trepidation at the prospect of running for more than 90 seconds. Glad to have successfully completed the first two weeks thought.

Good for you! I think that I would recommend that you try to forget that you have previously done C25K -- looking back at where you used to be will make it tougher now for you. I think that you need to start anew in the fullest sense of the word - but at least you know this time that you CAN do it!!!

You've done the first two weeks chopstick, only 7 more to go! As Bazza says at least you know you can do it, just take your time and keep to your own pace. Good luck :)
