Things people say after a bereavement.
Is it just me, but the phrase I hate most ( & people are still saying it to me seventeen months after Mike died & my sister in law is the worst offender ) " I can only imagine what you're going through." I have to say to them, actually you can't. You have absolutely no idea what I'm going through & you

Just got invited to this group
Hi not sure how I just got invited to this
bereavement
group but thank you. I've still been posting and responding to people in the other group I was in - liver support, even after I lost my dad to cirrhosis. It helps me to help others to share my experience and maybe answer their questions.

Hi all
There aren't many organisations out there that deal with this type of
bereavement
, and believe me I've searched. In the end I have managed to be referred to a trauma therapist. So my situation is very different, but I have known loss and can totally empathise with all of you.

bereavement
, and the loss of so many of my family. I decided to go to the Doctor , and they have put me on busporine and Efexor XL . I can't see any difference yet but I will stick it out and hope for the best thanks again

Back again!
I got to my goal and then things went very wrong for me and my family after a
bereavement
. For a while there was no difference and for a while I lost too much weight from IBS brought on by stress but since Christmas I have kind of reverted back to my old 'eating for the sake of it' ways.

Bereavement now I can't be bothered
In the past 3 years , my family has been torn apart with bereavements . First we lost my sister who was a rock in the family ( I managed to block her death out ). You see I spent a number of years in HM Forces and its drummed into you to get on with things. Therefore My Sister had passed and I didn't

Help with depression
After a recent
bereavement
I now have depression and ocd thoughts about death. Does anyone else have this? I am starting cbt but wondered if anti depressants could help I'm struggling to hold down a job and be happy. I just went to be in bed all day sleep is the best no negative thoughts.

Stress related flare up?
However since coping with 2 funerals this year and supporting my family through their
bereavement
once everything has settled back down to normal I have had a lot of fatigue days and stiffness in my elbows.

Dumped after recent bereavement
I just wondered if anyone out there can give me some advice. My relationship with the love of my life, after six years together ended recently, she basically decided to leave me for reasons I'm not all to sure of, and it was by a really short and cold I stand message. The thing that's mighty hard is

A Partner who Doesn't Understand
I have had
bereavement
counselling in the first couple of months as I needed to try and get over the shock so that i could begin to grieve. Since then i have tried to cope on my own with exercise and good eating. Unfortunately this is not working for me anymore. My mood swings are horrific.

Stress and possible flare
Yesterday we had a close family
bereavement
and although it was expected I had a number of phone calls to make to upset relatives. I was sad for the news but he was very elderly and suffering so not duly upset myself.

Wife has endless despair
She suffered from a sad
bereavement
five years ago and has never been the same. Despite me being nothing but supportive we've became toxic to each other. She can't accept our life together anymore, and if she wants it to end I'll have to accept it.
