Hello, my gums are red and feels like they will come to my hand. Everytime I brush there is blood in my mouth. Is there anything you know? What can I do? Is there any ointment?

Is a tin or copper taste associated with thyroid disease??
I'm not sure if this is a new symptom or just random but for the last few days my throat has been sore and I've had a weird tin or copper type taste in my mouth.

Mouth smell
Myself and my father both are diabetic. Both of us have mouth smell. Is it related to diabetic? If mouth refresher can be used, which mouth refresher doesn't have sugar?

So scared of this uncontrolled pain and more to come from dental treatment on 9th, before I can start Enbrel hopefully soon.
I am really sorry folks but my sense of humour and support is not good just now so please excuse me. I feel so bad my interest in almost everything is going. I had an awful time at the bone scan yesterday with my knees and legs being forced apart and over a plastic triangle for trying to get a better

Hi all, I have Sjogren's but something else has been added to the mix. Red sore mouth and gums which I have told is Oral Lichen Planus.
It is an inflammatory condition due to autoimmune problems. Does anyone else have this condition as I am told it is not uncommon. Regards Cassiecat

When is a sore throat more than that?
Hi all, how do you know if you have a sore throat or your white blood cell count is low? I've had many a sore throat but at the moment I can't seem to shift it and it sometimes feels like my throat is closing up. It looks red but not swollen.

ESA -v- Other benefits
Thought some of you may be interested to know that it is not always in your best interest to go to a tribunal and fight for ESA. If your partner is of pensionable age, you would probably be better off by claiming pension credit. With this benefit you have added benefits of paid council tax, prescriptions

Pursed lip breathing
Another question from this newbie. I've been reading about the pursed lip breathing technique and realise it's something I've been doing for quite a while (months before I was diagnosed). I read you should breathe in through your nose - 1,2, and breathe out through your mouth - 1, 2, 3, 4.
