Self supplementation although serum Ferritin 'in range' confused!:-(
Hi, would someone be able to help me with my recent blood results? I have had problems with my iron since I was 16 I am now 31. Its been on and off and I don't eat a great amount of meat. My most recent tests are here attached but in summary my Serum Ferritin is at 46. I've totally lost faith in doctors

A vitamin solution found!
My partner has had severe RLS for 13 years. He's been involved in RLS studies at the Imperial College London and tried the pharmaceuticals prescribed by doctors etc but nothing worked long term. Through experimentation and hours of research over recent years we've slowly come across 2 solutions that

Feel unsteady, like walking on a trampoline or a boat
Hi, I'm on here because I've had trouble the past two years feeling like I'm walking on a boat or trampoline. My symptoms come and go, but now they're back again. It initially stated when I tapered off xanax a little over two years ago. I tapered too fast and went through withdrawals, then took Valium

Why is it so difficult to Interact with G.P.s ?
Hello. This is my first post, although I have been a lurker for some time. I am 65, female, with many symptoms which brought me to this forum. I thought I was B12 deficient about a year ago after finding information by accident which appeared to sum me up completely. So, I started taking B12, but nothing

Stomach pain with muscle discomfort
Hi there, for the last 4 months I've had stomach pain(right between ribs mostly after eating)with muscle discomfort in upper and lower back. Both symptoms come and go, sometimes I feel good for a couple days then it's back. The discomfort can last for hrs. Naturopath treated me with candida supplements

Just a diet problem
Hi everyone, I had my oesophagectomy 6 years ago, and apart from dumping and reflux I've been quite well. A few months ago I noticed more reflux, or even vomiting after meals, and sometimes gagging during meals . Of course I immediately became convinced the cancer was back. I rang the specialist nurse

Locked leg muscles. Botox, anyone?
Ankles to top of the hamstring and thigh muscles, right leg. This occurs anytime I'm upright. Neurologist says it's increased tone and spasticity. He has me taking zanaflex and valium. He's repeatedly spoke of Botox injections, however I am unable to find information of approval to use Botox injections

update Cherylclaire
Things seem to be turning around for me lately. After having to go off sick from my teaching job, I finally wrote a letter to my GP- as appointments were only 10 minutes and v. difficult for both of us as I'm having a few cognitive/ memory etc problems. She has now spoken to a haematologist for advice

Roger payne is my name, could have been spelt pain, may have been a bit more apt.
I am feeling incredibly down at moment. If a tennis player I would be Roger Fed uperer. Been in a lot of pain for a long long time now and seriously fed up. My parents have died, recently, well actually not true. Dad died 10 years ago now of bladder cancer,I cared for him to the best of my ability. He
