How Do You Establish and Maintain True Friendships When You Have Anxiety Disorder and Agoraphobia?
Hello Everyone. I have suffered with anxiety disorder and agoraphobia since the age of 19 years. I am now 55 years old. When I was about 40 years old I purchased the "Attacking Anxiety and Depression" Program and it truly changed my life. I lived in NYC at the time and it was quite difficult for me

Sacral Herpes, feeling so helpless and low
I was diagnosed with herpes on Friday and I am really struggling to come to terms with it. I was so surprised as I honestly thought I had Psoriasis and didn't give a thought about an STD as I have only been getting the itchy bumps and blisters at the top of my bum. I have been with my husband for 9 years

Is a barium swallow safe?
Ive been diagnosed with a couple of automimmune conditions this year. But, not satisfied with that, the consultant is still looking at the possibility of scleroderma and so wants to do a barium swallow. But Im a bit worried about the safety issues. I know that there is radiation and it is inside you

Today is a sleepy day
Last night I skipped my pain pills because of the amount of Valium I had during my panic. But the weather here has turned a bit grumpy so I am going to say in bed under my warming blanket.hopefully I will be up and moving again soon.for now my pain meds are starting to work so it's off to sleep I go.

Almost had it
I slept in a bit, had my breakfast drink made by my wonderful husband, took had a short nap. I walked to my living room to get out of my comfort zone for a bit. Started my cycle instead. I cleaned my couch changed and cleaned up then fixed a little lunch. I talked to an old friend for over an hour or

Noise sensitivity
I would love any suggestions that you can think of. Since my problems kicked off 18 weeks ago I have had constant intense ear ache and tinnitus. What is most upsetting of all is I cannot bare to listen to music and it's my greatest love. I've had to cancel the opera and ballet and music festivals all

New here, no previous thyroid issues, no meds. Need help as had tests and they are weird.
Hi, I'm new here and never had a thyroid problem before and am not on any thyroid medication. I recently had a thyroid test at GPs and it was 'normal'. I decided to havea more detailed private one and the results are strange. Can I post the results for advice please? I will add that I'm currently in

Methotrexate Not Working. Next Step?
Hello. After being diagnosed a few months ago with RA, nothing has helped me feel any better. I've been on methotrexate for 4 months, cymbalta for 3 months, and lyrica for 2 weeks. Oxycodones help slightly, but only mask some of the pain. My last x-ray a couple months ago revealed bone damage, so I'm

Night Cramps torment
Hi to everyone. Does anyone have any suggestions to help relieve night cramps in both legs and feet? I am 63 years. I have endured these for the last 8 or 9 years and it seems to be getting worse. I am taking prescribed quinine every night, (breaking the course for a week every month) and cover my legs

Good news on numbers!
Hi Everyone! I just had to post to let you know all my numbers are continuing to improve. My biggest issue was hemoglobin and it's now up to a 14. My cells have come back normal in shape and size. My oncologist is thrilled with where I'm at and I did have final iron infusion today as a booster and he

No other option
I've never posted something like this or have gone to a support group; but at this point I don't know what else to do. I've been diagnosed with bi-polar and severe anxiety. I have had anxiety and social anxiety for as long as I can remember. I'm on valium, lithium and lamictal. Over the past few months
