My dermatologist recommended isotretinoin, is this the same as Roaccutane?

A few of you recommended Roaccutane to me to stop my acne due to endo. My dermatologist has recommended isotretinoin, is this the same thing? Or if not has anyone had any experience with it?

Thanks!

Yes it's the same thing .. I have had 3 courses when I was a teenager .. I've also just found out it's actually a chemotherapy drug and I have loads of health issues, endo, possible IBD and arthritis .. I can't be sure roaccutane is to blame, but if I could go back I would never have took it! I didn't even find it that helpful! Quinoderm cleared me up .. it took a while but it was better than any prescription med I was given!
