HELP with getting sleep!
HELP! My DH isn't sleeping well at all. He's tried Natrol 10mg Melatonin and it wasn't that great. I then got Natrol Melatonin Advance Sleep 10mg Melatonin (it's a 2 layer time release to help fall asleep quickly, then the inner layer helps you sleep through the night), sounded good, but it was worse

How to refuse medication
I am new to all this but was diagnosed with op after a dexa scan about a month ago. I had a fall on holiday in Portugal and fractured my ankle in 2 places. Missed my flight home but eventually made it 2 days later with leg in plaster and back to the wrong airport, this was in May. Then followed an operation

New member requiring advice
I have been recently diagnosed with PMR and have been on 15mg Prednisolone for 5 weeks together with Omeprazole, Adcal and Alendronic Acid. Any advice on do's and don'ts would be really helpful, in particular about diet as I don't want to gain weight. Incidentally I find that taking the Prednisolone

Health update
Hello I have not posted for sometime but not because I have forgotten my fellow PMR sufferers. Since I stopped my steroid treatment at the beginning of November 2018, family issues, including a bereavement have kept me very busy. Together with work (really looking forward to retirement but still 2 years

Bleeding prior to ovulation
Hi all I posted about this a little while ago and since have seen my consultant. Mid cycle bleeding - pretty much like a period. I need to use sanitary products to manage it. Often small clots and bright red bleeding. It happens every month without fail for a week prior to ovulation and a couple

Hello I’ve always been a terrible sleeper. I am really pleased that I am pregnant after my first round of ivf (very early days).l BUT... I miscarried at 21 weeks earlier in the year and although I am feeling so blessed and lucky and happy to be pregnant, I am also terrified and sleeping worse than ever

Zoledronic Acid infusion
So I’ve had the first infusion and boy I was so ill for 2 weeks - is this really worth it for 3 x annual infusions ? I’ve just had a thought is having these 3 infusions a permanent cure so as to speak or will my bones degenerate again over time because if they do just what is the point of having it

Alendronic acid
Hi, I've just been reading the leaflet that has come with my alendronic acid, it says some people can't take it, one of these reasons is if you have digestive problems, I have IBS and UC, do the doctors not actually look at your notes before prescribing meds, I already have bad indigestion from the steroids

Hi guys, how are you all? I hope not too bad. I have been extremely tired and my fingers and toes have got much worse lately, so I'm actually struggling typing right now.. I would like to try to minimize my typing but it's actually really difficult because of computer and phone use daily! :o How do you
