The pathophysiology of cerebellar ataxias is as diverse as the various neurological and systemic diseases affecting the cerebellum. Broadly classifying ataxias into genetic

Excellent appointment with the rheumatologist.
I saw the consultant rheumatologist today and she couldn`t have been nicer or more helpful. She said I`m doing very well and to keep doing exactly what I`m doing now. She is happy that I`m using the dead slow taper and said that is what she advises her patients to do if they have problems lowering their

Just checking
Have had PMR for a year and a half. Recently tried a taper from 8 mg to7.5. Started just after Christmas, after a six week battle with a cough and while feeling more tired than usual. A wee bit of pain came back in shoulders and hip, and an overpowering malaise took hold, although I really wasn’t aware

Sore mouth!
Newbie here. Quick question! My mouth is sore, not truly bad, but noticeable. I would appreciate some advice.
Good morning everyone. I hope you had a good Christmas. Ironically the thing I had been fearing happened on Christmas Day. I began to bring up blood about an egg cup full. I have just completed a course of clarithromycin ,so thought that would deal with any infection. Previously I have had small amounts

Wanted to ask: 1) who else suffers from stomach pains after taking their daily prednisolone? I take 12mg/day+ omeprazole for tummy but still get stomach pains (doubled omeprazol dose recently too) 2) Same question for alendronic acid.... Always gives me really bad stomach pain. Is that a normal experience
