Possible nocturnal seizures?
Hi, I've recently started experiencing what I can only describe as seizures in my sleep. I'm a 33 year old mother of two, and It tends to happen not long after I've fallen asleep, I suddenly feel a tight pulling pain on the left side of my head, and with it comes a feeling of seizing up in my face and

Survey. Please help
Hello everyone. I am asking members who have had oesophageal cancer, if they had ever taken Alendronic acid tablets. I am asking in order to find out if there is a connection. I would appreciate your time. If there is a link, it may help to prevent others suffering as we have.

Valerian Root
Does anyone here find valerian root helpful during anxious times or panic attacks? I’ve heard it’s a sleep aid but can be calming. Also does anyone know of any other natural products that are calming but aren’t sedating so I can take it before work? I was thinking of kava but a woman I know who owns

Hashimoto's neuropathy, Goitre, normal thyroid results- trying ALA, and magnesium spray for neuropathic symptoms
Hi all, Just wanted to ask if any of you suffering from neuropathies have tried magnesium oil spray, and Alpha Lipoic Acid supplements to help treat your condition? After much trawling around on the internet, I've come across many articles and patient reviews on both of the above, with the overall consensus

I need a reminder...
Hi PBC family, I Hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected. And for those of you experiencing the worst of this stupid disease, many prayers go out for you everyday ❤. I know several of you have experienced upper right quadrant pain or URQP. Some have described it as a dull ache that may radiate

Advice on tranexamic acid
Hi I've been having horrible hip pain and very bad cramps during period for over a year now, along with a lot of other endo symptoms! I have a pretty high pain threshold but the pain in my hips gets so bad I can't sit down and cramps during my period are so bad it makes me throw up. My GP prescribed

Hello, My mother had been detected triple positive breast cancer in October 2015 at 3rd stage. But later after her chemo, surgery and radiotherapy, she had recovered in august 2016. But now she has had a relapse. Please suggest what should we do. I have attached the report of her CT SCAN which shows

Posting for a sick friend
A friend (aged 44) has been unwell for quite a while and I would be grateful if you could look at her blood test results and see what you think. I have directed her to the thyroid 'symptom list' and she says she feels like she has quite a lot of them, in particular weight gain, VERY heavy periods, extreme

Dental problems and Osteopania
Hi, this is possibly an odd question but does anyone out there have any issues with their teeth? I have Osteopania thanks to the steroids and in the last month or so I have had 2 crowns fall out and an abscess form above another crown which is requiring surgery to treat. I asked the dentist but he didn't

Bad reaction to antibiotics
HI everyone. Comments please. After having a tummy bug I was bitten in bed! And the next day my joint in my right foot looked like Mount Etna. Inflamed with what looked like an ulcer and very painful. Couldn't get my shoe on. Went to surgery and was given antibiotics. - Amoxycilin is the only drug

Mefenamic acid & tranexamic acid have made a HUGE difference to my periods 😁
Hi ladies, I have endometriosis left all over my rectum and currently TTC and awaiting another laparoscopy ( with an endo specialist) My periods are pretty horrendous ; so heavy and ridiculously painful. Obviously with TTC I’m restricted what I can take. This is the first time using both medicines
