What "should" I be feeling like?
I've had GCA for 3 years now and my prednisolone dose is down to 5mg. I had thought that by now I would be feeling a lot closer to "normal" than I actually am. I still feel extreme exhaustion, like being completely drained of energy, not really tired. Also as if I have permanent flu. I have very bad

Is this endometriosis? And has anyone else been given rigevidon for suspected endo?
This is my first post on here, but I have been reading posts with interest as I'm trying to figure out if I have the condition or not. I am just back from another frustrating visit to the doctors. I have been having ongoing issues for 2 years. My main symptoms are Severe lower back pain through cycle

Alendronic
I wrote about damage limitation recently stopping AA but got facts wrong as usual. I am now down to 5 mg preds and I want to know the risk now if I drop the alendronic acid pill as it has such risks (I understand) of damage to stomach. Please can I stop it after two years as I would feel happier to

Risendronate.
I have been prescribed this medication because I couldn't get on with Alendronic Acid, due to severe reflux. I have a Hiatus Hernia. I came across a review page online and the comments on there are quite frightening. Has anyone taken this drug please and if so what was your experience. Thank you, Jenny

Short-Chain Fatty Acids and Autoimmune Diseases.
Some new work has shown that mice fed a special diet are much less likely to suffer from Type 1 diabetes. It's possible that other autoimmune diseases, maybe PA, could also be prevented by adopting a similar diet. The diet includes a type of fibre (resistant starches) that gets broken down in the large

Steroids and alendronic acid
I have been having troubles with my legs being painful and weak enough to collapse. I was diagnosed as having vitamin d deficiency. My doctor prescribed me this pain relief while I go through a bunch of tests, but I took two yesterday (at two separate times) and ever since I've been so nauseous, I've had about two hours of sleep last night/ this morning because the whole time I felt like I was on a boat and every time I was just

Wondering if I have endometriosis...
Hi I’ve been wondering recently if I might have endometriosis after googling my symptoms. I am 40 years old and have 2 children. It took 6 and 7 months to get pregnant with each but had no fertility problems. My symptoms are below – wondering if this sounds like it: •heavy and painful periods

A cure for backache??
Hi, I was 68 and very active, water skiing, tennis and keeping fit on a rowing machine then I thought I'd cracked a rib skiing which took months to heal then went skiing and the same thing happened again. I had an MRI which showed four collapsed vertebrae so a follow up bone density scan gave a value

Help, please.
I'm currently reducing my prednisolone - 1mg every ywo weeks - in preparation for my reassessment for etanercept. I was on10mg and I'm currently in my second week at 8mg. I'm still on 20mg leflunomide a week, and am in the first month taking alendronic acid. I'll be honest, I'm in a bit of a state. I

Hi All, I am a new 'old boy'.
A fellow sufferer with OP added to which is COPD. Had five Kyphoplasy ops which have helped. Taking Ibandronic acid monthly and Calcium tabs daily. Together the OP and Copd have given me a pigeon chest which does nothing to help the breathing. Visit a respiratory gym twice a week. Lost at least 5 inches
