Knee arthroscopy - 1st consultant appointment
Hi, 12 weeks ago I injured my knee, I have a large bucket handle tear of my meniscus, the loose bit of cartridge has been trapped up inside the joint and I've not been able to fully bend or straighten my knee or walk properly on it since it happened. It's been horribly painful. I have been told by both

Knee replacement
I had an
arthroscopy
(washout) of my knee in December, but looks like some form of replacement now necessary as no real sign of improved mobility. Following surgery I had to increase steroids as experienced quite a flare. Will probably need to do same following next bout of surgery.

Amiodarone long term
Hi all, I was diagnosed with AF at the end of January after being admitted to hospital for a knee
arthroscopy
to repair a torn meniscus. I was eventually discharged with Apixaban and put on a waiting list for a cardiac appointment.

Any advice please
I am due to have an
arthroscopy
(knee surgery). My pre-op assessment included blood tests. My Thyroid results came back as TSH 0.02 (0.27-4.20) and my FT4 8.1 (11-25). They didn't test FT3 even though I take Liothyronine. I take 100mcg T4 and 20mcg T3.

Newbie rant
This rheumatologist couldn't give me an answer and referred me to a surgeon for an
arthroscopy
on my wrist and suggested a shoe insert for my heel. As these are the 2 most painful, they signed me off and sent me back to my GP. I had to go back to my GP as I was still suffering.

Knee replacement???
However they decided to do an
arthroscopy
which led them to carrying out a partial medial menisectomy and implantation of trochlear hemiarthroplasty ( whatever that is).

Arthritic knee
After I had an
arthroscopy
, I was told I need a new knee. I declined at the time(16 months ago) but now am ready. However, the X-rays show nothing despite the symptoms worsening. Is this possible? The doc. I saw last week thought I was lying! Struan

To BMB or not? And can I request one?
I'd had a knee
arthroscopy
due to a badly torn cartilage. My consultant is unsure as to whether I have ET or PV, she thinks time will tell but I'm beginning to think I should ask for a bone marrow biopsy?

REEVALUATING THE CAUSE OF MY FALLS
Ok so I have been giving lots of thought regarding my Falls. Thanks to everyone who has replied to my posts regarding this topic. It has made me think and think hard. Maybe, just maybe, the falls are not a symptom of RLS but are a consequence of the continual kicking that I have had to endure thru my

Looking for recommendations for an excellent knee surgeon/consultant on the nhs.
I had a left knee
arthroscopy
surgery 10 weeks ago, the consultant/surgeon said he found a ligament tear, so he was able to trim the bit off. I'm still experiencing knee pain in the same knee, and quality of life, walking is still very effected. I'm 46.
