Struggling
I have recently had an
arthroscopy
on my knee to trim some cartilage and perform a synovectomy. I have since discovered in the surgeons report that I have grade 4 degeneration in my knee and part of my meniscus is completely gone. I am also awaiting elbow surgery (likely replacements).

Recovery from surgery, your experience, tips and advice.
I am due to have hip
arthroscopy
in 6 weeks. It was booked for a year ago but I was too ill to go through with it. I am so incredibly nervous and apprehensive about it. It needs to be done and my surgeon has given me 60% chance of success, which I'm happy with.

Knee operation in primary lymphoedema of legs
I have had a knee
arthroscopy
recently and a menisectomy which has been effective for the pain I was having. I was worried about Cellulitis so I talked with my GP about it and asked for a course of antibiotics to cover the op and the five days after. I spoke with the surgeon, too, of course.

Not Yet Diagnosed
I am 3 weeks post my last knee surgery, an investigatory
arthroscopy
which follows bilateral micro-fracture surgery followed by a patello-femoral joint replacement on my left knee.

Pelvic Pain, PID, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Frequent Urination
Fast forward to 2014, and I underwent an hip
arthroscopy
because I believed the pain I was having was contributed to my hip and that region, another failed surgery because the pain is still there but I now believe the pain I was mistaking as hip pain is actually more in my pelvic region.

Update to short story long
He was incandescent that A&E wouldn't do bloods, thinks that the blood levels will come back normal (which they will if it's psoriatic arthritis) and said to go back if a month's physio doesn't help and he will refer me to the orthopaedic team (I had a hip
arthroscopy
, labral tear repair a year ago

Elbow joint replacement....would you say yes?
I suffer from osteo arthritis in most joints ...had two partial knee replacements 6 years ago and they're great. I've had a thumb joint replacement - also great. However, following two arthroscopies in three years and injections, I'm suffering a great deal of pain and restricted movement in my right

Arthroscopy of the knee?
I've been referred to an orthopaedic surgeon for a possible
arthroscopy
. Has anyone had this, and how did it go? At the moment I am stable on rituximab and steroids, but I don't know if this will be something that worries the surgeon.

Physio for knee pain. How quick will it improve the pain?
I was finally referred to hospital by a doctor who examined me and said he was 100% sure that there was some loose cartilage that was causing the problem and I would need an
arthroscopy
to "wash it out". After waiting 7 weeks for the appointment, I went to the hospital yesterday.

Body screams with pain
I have had 2 hip replacements ,
arthroscopy
of shoulder n foot, carpal tunnel and my spine fused For years I've been to pain mgt etc and I've always thought it was arthritis but after reading up on fibromyalgia I'm guessing it's also what I have.

Left Calf pain.
Not sure if it wa connected to knee
arthroscopy
. But recently had tocwear compresion socks for carpal tunnel surgery and the pain in leg was gone o leaving hospital the same day. Was afraid it was veins maybe could have been a clot forming.
