Posted last week re low b12 (219) liw ferratin of 22 and folate of 6.2. Dr says all fine though. Today got a date in two weeks for my arthroscopy surgery on my knee. Is it ok to go ahead with them being this low?

Hi alimariebell if you are having the operation done under a General Anaethestic and if Nitrous Oxide is used this may have an adverse affect on your B12 levels so have a word with the anaesthetist first.

I'm not medically trained but hope all goes well for you.
