Chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis
Does anyone else on this site have such severe RA that they are almost house bound and have great difficulty walking? If so, how do they manage from day to day and what medication/s have been the most helpful?

Diet ?
Hello everyone, I’m new here.I’ve just been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 3 weeks ago, and I was started on treatment straight away. I’m just wondering is there a specific diet anyone follows that helps with symptoms? I also need to lose weight so any advice would be great . Thanks

Getting Below 10 Mgs
I am, once again, trying to taper below 10 mgs prednisone. I have tried at least twice before and experienced a flare. I was diagnosed with PMR in May 2017. This time, I am tiptoeing using the DSNS method. Once I drop below 10 mgs I am going to drop by 1/2 a mg. My main problem is the terrible stiffness

GCA worries
My GP has now been treating me for PMR and, according to her Temporal
arteritis
/GCA symptoms for about 3 weeks now but I’ve had symptoms on and off for some time. I’m almost 50 and have always been healthy apart from having Sjogren’s syndrome for about 3 years.

Rapid taper before adrenals shut down
I also subscribe to a pmr forum on Facebook. The following was on the site yesterday. The poster has recently been diagnosed and wants to taper to as low as possible before her adrenals shut down in three weeks. Have any of you heard of this approach? "I’m newly diagnosed and was helped tremendously

No Blood Pressure
I have Takayasu
Arteritis
. Whenever I go to the GP or hospital, where they need to take my blood pressure, they can't find one. Can anyone tell me what they do in this situation? Is there somewhere on your body that makes getting blood pressure easier?

CBD with antidepressants and painkillers?
I am taking Venlalic XL 150 mg and Pregablin 150 mg for Fibromyalgia and am keen to understand the risks if any from also using CBD oil for the pain. Anyone have any info or experience, I would be grateful. The CBD oil is 2.75% recommended by a friend who does not take any antidepressants or painkillers

Bruising on skin without any obvious reason
Hello All, I am 46 and I have had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 38. Although I take a lot of medication it is still active and not under control. I get a great deal of pain particularly in my hands and I also feel fatigued a lot. I am getting bruises on my arms and legs. There is no obvious reason

Visit to Arthritis Doctor
I want to thank everyone that responded to my recent request about PMR affecting hands and feet. I went to my arthritis doctor yesterday and she still is not convinced I have PMR. She wants me off of prednisone as soon as possible. I am tapering but not as quickly as she would like. If she can

Suffering from GCA or Prednisolone
I am a 68 year oldman who has suffered from polymyalgia/ giant cell
arteritis
for 11 years to date...or have I? I know I had polymyalgia for 1 year which then turned into GCA - as confirmed with a pet scanned ( I was told I lit up like a belisha beacon).
