We're really pleased to let you all know that the new GCA guidelines were published today by the British Society for Rheumatology. As some of you may know we have been involved with these at various stages and our patron, Dr Sarah Mackie has been the co-lead on producing them.

Swifter diagnosis can only be a good step forward for everyone yet to be diagnosed with GCA. And if you already have GCA it's worth knowing what the recommended best practice is for biologic drugs.

If you are not currently a member of our charity, please consider joining and supporting us so that not only can we continue to help patients with these illnesses (through our helpline, this HealthUnlocked forum, group meetings and our website) but also to continue to be a voice within the medical world. It costs just £15 a year to become a member. pmrgca.co.uk/content/about-...
