What to try next
The doctor isn't sure what to try next, so has opted for
aromatherapy
massage. Tramadol makes me I'll, so does ibuprofen based meds. Taking dihydrocodiene, diazepam, dicloflenac, nefopam and nortryptiline.

Divorced and starting over
I try to eat properly, I do
aromatherapy
, I have a close relationship with God, but the depression still takes hold of me and I feel like I'm not moving forward. I'm stuck in this house with my mom 90% of the time and it's driving me crazy.

Is aromatherapy safe with PMR/GCA?
Hi, I started with a cold two weeks ago and now have sinusitis, I have been doing steam inhalation with some drops of
aromatherapy
oils in, is this ok? Have also been rubbing some oils in my chest at night, will it interfere with my medication?

Natural treatment for endometriosis
This book is available on Amazon and has been a godsend to me, it has herbs in it you can use for pain relief and
aromatherapy
blends too, self massage, lots of information about endo more than what the doctors tell you and also info about each of the treatment options and the pros and cons of them.

Any tips on how to sleep on high steroids
I have also tried alternative therapy reflexology,
aromatherapy
oils etc and I've tried to ban myself from my iPad at night. I know it will probably get better the dose is dropped further - just wondered if anything worked for anyone else?

I just want my life back
I have tried acupuncture,
aromatherapy
, osteopathics, meditation, yoga, and several different medications. The medications either leave me feeling empty or add bouts of depression to the mix. I can live a pretty normal life for the most part.

I'm taking 70mg nortriptyline daily and sumatriptan when I have an attack, but the sumatriptan has started to not work after a few hours.
Have also tried
aromatherapy
massage, and accupuncture. I religiously don't touch caffeine, drink loads of water, have regular sleep patterns, don't drink alcohol yet it seems to make no difference. Sorry to moan but I feel really desperate.

Thymus gland
I'm starting a course soon, to study
Aromatherapy
because I want to work for myself on "my" terms. The course includes study of Anatomy & Physiology! So I've been busy looking into A&P in preparation and came across the Thymus Gland.

Any experience/results with alternative therapies?
Also thinking of giving
aromatherapy
a go, even if it only means popping a bit of essential oil in the bath along with some Epsom salts. Any thoughts?? Rach x

Alternative treatment?
As I am not familiar with the condition, other than what I have read on this site, I wonder if anyone has tried any alternative, eg massage, reflexology,
aromatherapy
, reiki, and whether they have found it helpful. I would like to try and help this client but do not want to give false hope.

Aromatherapy oils interfering with anti-coagulants?
During my first pregnancy, the midwife used
aromatherapy
oils that a) relaxed me and b) provided some pain relief. I was hoping to use
aromatherapy
oils in this pregnancy too, in the lead up and during labour, however I've been told to be careful as some oils can interfere with anti-coagulants.

What alternative therapies have folk found helpful & effective in managing their Lupus symptoms & flares?
I also find
aromatherapy
& reflexology helpful. I would love to be able to manage my symptoms totally without conventional medical intervention. Has anyone been able to do this?
