So my ESR has gone from 8 to52 and CRP has gone from 6 to 20 since August last blood test. I'm back on 30 mg pred and due more tests. Intrinsic Factor Test
Hi Community :) For the last 3 years, I've had increasing numbness and burning pins and needles, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, and have been shedding weight. My GP has had me tested for MS (MRI scan says "no") and Neurology have diagnosed "funtional neurological disorder - FND". I then researched

Low B12/Folate Symptoms
I had just started taking B12 drops to help with low B12 levels - 249 when my consultant decieded to take another test - I requested a print out of this latest B12 test - this was taken ten days after I had started the B12 drops when the level was 249 - and is now - 18/10/22 B12 Vitamin B12 - 567

FAINTS/COLLAPSES WITH HYPOTHYROIDISM?
I have been on levothyroxine since the 1980s, and last year I experienced various fainting issues in 2021 (see bio). I would be grateful for any advice anyone can offer. In August 2022, on the Saturday of the long extreme heatwave I got up at 6.30 much earlier than normal to open all windows and

Fibro & Magnesium Spray.
Evening all. So as I've only been recently been diagnosed with Fibro (although had many symptoms for many years ) and I've been on Pregabalin for a number of years too, I was wondering if anyone else has had much success with using Magnesium Spray?. I did some research and this was something that cropped

Ferinject to correct iron deficiency and strange clicking in throat when swollowing
So I had very bad iron deficiency anemia for some time now. Iron tablets did not work well. So an internist decided to give me ferinject 1000 to correct it. I had 30 minutes of iron infusion and I was fine. Then after couple of days my throat was swollen and I start to have strange sensations. It's like

Iron Infusion in the U.S.
Hello wise RLS colleagues!Has anyone had Medicare pay for an iron infusion for their RLS? I meet the RLS guidelines for iron infusion, but I have been told that Medicare will not cover it because I am not anemic. If it was covered, can you share with me what code was used? I have had RLS for 20 years

Puzzling blood tests
As of this month, I’ve had 13 years of unexplained issues with balance and falls; POTS; weakness; cognition and memory; fatigue; joint pain; skin problems; clumsiness and gait; tinnitus; and male fertility. I’ve had MRI’s, heart checks, endocrine workups, dietary changes, etc that don’t reveal significant

Can anyone make sense of these results for me please? I was ferritin level 6ugL (23-300) in September. It has rose which I'm happy about but I'm still incredibly symptomatic, I don't really understand blood test readings, can anyone shed some light on it? Serum Ferritin level (XE24r) 26ug/L (23-300

Advuce please?
HI all, I've just had bloods due to gradually increasing fatigue, brain fog, exhaustion, dizziness on standing. I also have tinnitus. The tiredness has gradually got worse, but it is the crappy memory and brain fog that does my head in. I've really noticed it in work, and have to pull my work van over

How soon do you get an improvement once you start receiving B12 injections?
Hi all, I got diagnosed with B12 deficiency (absorbtion issue, not diet) this summer and from what I understand my level on diagnosis was quite low (58). I had my loading doses and saw some improvement, but plateaued below my better days after about 6 weeks. Around 2 weeks before my next injection I

? Pernicious anaemia with normal B12 and no anaemia?
Hello all, I may well be completely off mark here, but my dad (79 years) has deteriorated significantly over the last 6-9 months. He was a big long distance walker prior to this and very sharp and over the last 6-9 months has developed pelvic discomfort (all investigated and not thought to be prostate

Any comments on slightly high haemoglobin in relation to other numbers in this report
She’s now on 75mcg of levo and her thyroid function is improving. I’ve read that Hashi hypos benefit from ferritin being high, ditto all nutrients, so are her folate and B12 a little compromised? Test done according to protocol advised here.
