What should my optimal vitamin levels be please?
Hi there, I’m trying to get vitamin levels up to hopefully help with poor conversion. Iron was low and I’ve recently retested for that after supplementing for about 3 months. Ferritin is now at 65 ug/L Folate has dropped from >45 a year ago to 8.5ug/L My question is what should they ideally be?

I’m sure she’s right but I was told via text with no opportunity to reply or discuss so wondering if anyone here can shed any extra light. I’m 8 months postpartum and still breastfeeding. I have a long term b12 issue for which I have injections every 8 weeks. Periodically my folate gets low, as it

I'm supposed to be taking 3 a day but I can barely manage 1, my bowels do not agree at all! 🙈 I was looking at Floradix liquid iron however it contains b vitamins which I'm

iron overload
An early happy new year to all. Just curious if anyone has iron overload from blood transfusions and if they have started any therapy for this. My husband has high risk MF and has been dependent on monthly blood transfusions since his hemoglobin and hematocrit levels have been low 25 for hematocrit

1 more question?! Maybe more!
You will all be getting fed up with me ! Today I started the 10 mcg Buprenorphine patch...changed from 12 mcg Fentanyl patch which didn't do much for pain and definitely nothing for the rls ! How long, approximately, does it take for Buprenorphine to kick in and start to help....hopefully? I wasn't

SERTRALINE VERSUS TRAZODONE
I have been weaning myself off Sertraline and am now down from 75mg to 25mg daily. It has at times, been a torturous process. I was recommended by Sue to try Trazodone instead of Sertraline so that was why I began weaning off it. However, on reading the leaflet for Trazodone the side effects are quite

Confounded by two different results for MMA test. One negative, one positive
About six weeks ago husband took a Medichecks MMA test. It was over range (positive) In a way I was relieved by this because it meant that now we knew what we were dealing with and what to do about it. However, GP was clueless and referred us on to a specialist in Cambridge, who five weeks after the

Injecting three forms of B12 at the same time?
Has anyone tried injecting three forms of B12 at the same time? I am designing a new trial and am considering staying with my amount of 2mg mg 5 hours apart including setting an alarm to inject in the night so my body is never without enough B12 for my cells to heal and injecting the three forms.

Acalabrutinib to treat CLL & AIHA
I have been on W&W since 2018 but in this last year have had four admissions to hospital with Auto Immune Haemolytic Anaemia, all admissions required blood transfusions and I felt pretty poorly with breathlessness, fatigue and very low Hb. My CLL is still relatively low level and ordinarily would not

TSH increase
I recently had blood tests due to feeling really fatigued especially after exercising. I’ve been on levo for 13 years for Hashimoto’s. Levels have been up and down. Last test was 0.75 and I felt fine. That was 9 months ago. Most recent test it was 7.16! No wonder I feel bad. All vits tested on the low

Root cause of autoimmune B12 def
Hello- I was just diagnosed with PA and was prescribed injections (cyanocobalamin unfortunately). This was from a hematology referral for low white blood cells. That turned out to be ok, but the doc noticed my B12 was "low" at 310. I was already supplementing B12 so she just said keep doing that.

I have just received an email from my GP who has arranged for a F2F appointment to see me beginning January to discuss me starting to take Prolia. My last Dexascan in 2021 did show that I have osteoporosis, and I did take Alendronic Acid for the first two years of having Polymyalgia. Since then I have
