Hi, could you kindly offer advice on my iron panel:

Iron 22.9 umol-l (5.8-34.5)

Ferritin 55.28 ug_l (9.999-120)

TIBC 61.0 umol-l (44.8-80.6)

Transferrin 2.75 g_l (2.00-3.80)

Transferrin Saturation 38 % (15-50)

I'm not a medical professional, but I have had lifelong issues with anemia, and I have a blood condition, MGUS, I have tested every 6 months.

Your iron panel looks to be all within normal limits.

Did your doctor run a CBC and a CMP as well? Those are often ordered at the same time to get a complete picture of your health.

Thank you siouxbee19, I normally arrange the blood tests myself instead of going through the doctor. I did CMP this time and all appeared in good range but forgot to do CBC. Reminder for next test. Thank you again siouxbee19
