What should my optimal vitamin levels be please?

Hi there,

I’m trying to get vitamin levels up to hopefully help with poor conversion.

Iron was low and I’ve recently retested for that after supplementing for about 3 months.

Ferritin is now at 65 ug/L

Folate has dropped from >45 a year ago to 8.5ug/L

My question is what should they ideally be?

The range is large, but what is optimal for thyroid function?

It’s important to share the ranges with all blood tests as these can vary between laboratories.

I aim for:

Vitamin D (100-150nmol/L)

Vitamin B12 (Total B12 needs to be at top of range or for Active B12 100 or above)

Folate (at least half way through range)

Ferritin (half way through range) Some point to 90-110ug as optimal.

Monitor My Health didn’t supply the ranges.

I emailed them but they only give the cut off points for deficiency.

I have a better idea from your reply though thank you.
