Trimix and Eliquis
I live in Northern Cali. I've been using Trimix injectable, successfully, for about 2 years. I've been using Eliquis, for atrial flutter, with the trimix, for about 18 months, with no problems. My urologist refuses to renew the trimix because I'm on a blood thinner. Has anyone had this situation and

coq10 use for statin muscle pain
Hi , wondering if anyone has experience with taking CoQ10 with a statin as well as blood thinner, specifically Plavix? Prior to having a stent placed in April, I was on a statin only and have read that you should take CoQ10. My cardiologist said take it or don’t take it it doesn’t really matter. It’s

For those people who worry about stopping their anticoagulant for medical procedures in case they have a stroke maybe my experience might reassure them. All drugs have a half life so the amount of time you have to stop before a procedure is calculated taking this into account. For the "bans" it is

Using flexiseq - tips please
I have recently been discharged by my rheumy, despite my crippling knee pain which he thinks is OA. I am still on half mg pred, and take blood thinners so can't take NSAIDs. I'm waiting for an XRay result. Lovely people on here have suggested I use Flexiseq. I have just started to use it. No noticeable

Hello, I recently found out I'm pregnant, but I've had 3 miscarriages last year and found I have a blood clotting condition after the tests following 3rd miscarriage. I just did my first injection on dpo 13, after faint positive on dpo 9. I hope it's ok to start it after few days, it took some time

Pregablin
I haven't posted for a while but I thought I would share some experience of my time taking Pregabalin, some 5 years I think. Before becoming a Patient of the Sleep Disorders team at Guy's, I saw several Neurologists who tried to help me with various medicines in an attempt to control my very bad RLS

Meds vs Ablation
Hello all, I’m weighing the decision of meds vs ablation for my Afib. I am currently doing fine on meds, Xarelto and 50mg Flecainide 2x daily that my cardiologist prescribed. However, I am waiting on a referral to an electrophysiologist. While waiting, I am trying to learn and gather as much info

Lansoprazole post NSTEMI just wondering if I still really need to take it??
I am now 9 months down the line from my NSTEMI event. Blood results all good, lost some weight due to reduced fat diet and exercise. I am feeling great post stenting, I seem to be tolerating the meds ok no real issues apart from increased flatulence. I was just wondering if I really need to take the

Warfarin and B12 injections?
Could anyone tell me if oral anticoagulation treatment has caused them any issues with B12 injections please? My father is on Warfarin for long-standing atrial fibrillation although I suspect that it was/is actually a B12 problem. He needs injections (family metabolism failure) but his doctor is uninterested

Unable to take NSAID's due to blood thinners...
I suffer from chronic glute/back pain due to lumbar spinal stenosis, but am unable to take NSAID's due to taking Rivaroxaban blood thinners. Is there any effective pain killer that I can take?...

scaring of the heart
Hi 😊😊 I had emergency surgery for perforated bowel Dec 22. I was in hospital for 8 weeks. There were many complications but I’m still here. I had an ICD fitted, this because I had 2 cardiac arrests 🙈. I’ve had many scans and MRI and they found scaring on my heart ❤️ I’ve had genetics blood test

I’ve just head a letter from cardiologist from our 3 monthly catch-up and noticed on diagnosis he has also put on preserved LV function, any of you lovely people know what that
