Eye laser surgery with antocoagulants
I checked online and nowhere it says that you can't do the laser surgery on
anticoagulants
, so I am positive, fingers crossed I am right 🤞

Refused anticoagulants
Anyway I was told by my EP that if an episode lasted more than 4 days I should start
anticoagulants
- and a letter was sent to my gps to that effect.

Angiogram and anticoagulants
I have to have an angiogram to determine whether I have angina or something like costachondritis. Will I need to stop taking Apixaban beforehand given that there is a risk of internal bleeding from the procedure? Is the procedure painful or uncomfortable?

Lactoferrin and anticoagulants
I would like to take it as well, but I cannot find information on interactions between Lactoferrin and
anticoagulants
. Has any fellow sufferer taken it? Does anybody know about any research on the subject?

Update
There isn't even a bruise, and as I'm on
anticoagulants
, I do bruise easily. Very impressed, and I told her so! Now I have to wait a week until my phone consultation next Tuesday morning.

If that is the case why are all women over the age of 75 with a base score of 2 on the ChadVasc index, (i.e. because of their age alone, even if they have no other risk factors and not even suffering from Afib), not on

I’ve started the

phosphatidylserine Neuroprotective? Works with DHA , reduces insomnia
DO NOT take phosphatidylserine if you are taking
anticoagulants
(blood thinners), and use caution when combining it with ginkgo for the same reason. https://www.mountsinai.org/health-library/condition/dementia Our studies have indicated that DHA supplementation promotes phosphatidylserine (PS) accumulation

She told me that these tests can cause nose bleeds, which can be serious for people on
anticoagulants
. So, take care the next time you stick one of the LFT sticks up your nose!

I have Hashimoto disease which I have had since 18 years of age. I do not take any medication for it as my thyroid function test is normal. However I am due to have thyroidectomy soon and wondered whether the medication I am prescribed for the replacement of thyroid will upset my anticoagulant medication

Questions on The Watchman.
For those not familiar, it's a device implanted near the heart to prevent stroke as an alternative to taking
anticoagulants
(I take Xarelto). I don't know if this procedure is common in the UK. Does anyone on the forum have the Watchman? Any comments and opinions on it would be appreciated.
