Living on Blood Thinners while being on Birth Control

Hello

Has anyone experienced blood clots after their laparoscopic surgeries and how do you navigate living on blood thinners while taking any type of birth control at same time? I got a pulmonary embolism after my first laparoscopic surgery (not due to any genetics), and I have been living a very long time over one year on blood thinners and I am told I can only take either Norethindrone Acetate in pill form (which I take right now) while on. blood thinners or have an IUD inserted to come off the blood thinners to avoid potential future blood clots. I do not like either option because living on blood thinners and Norethindrone Acetate at same time has caused me many bad bleeding issues all over my body from the blood thinners and psychological stress of constantly worrying about bleeding (and even death from hematomas/bleeding too much) and the birth control has made me gain weight, harmed my libido, made me feel more mentally unwell, and more. I do not like IUD's as I feel I would end up bleeding a lot like others have and have severe pain and I do not like the fact that the IUD device could easily move inside me and cause more damage due to other health issues I deal with and how doctors constantly downplay to my face about an IUD making me bleed for months and and be in pain. I was told by a new Endometriosis specialists to give the Liletta IUD 3 months to see if it works but that's so long and I also read on their website that it shouldn't be used for people with Endometriosis. The Norethindrone Acetate pill already took 6 long months to work to help many of my Endometriosis pain symptoms be masked and I hear too many bad than good stories of IUD's causing more issues to people with severe pain and bleeding and additional health issues. I also was just told I live with Adenomyosis from my MRI scan just done a year after my first surgery that didn't go well with an old doctor who was not skilled (not all my ovarian cyst was removed and I the doctor used ablation on endometriosis and I didn't know for over a month that they also removed a fibroid). My new MRI was used with vaginal and rectal and arm IV contrast along with other things being found in my scan so that complicates things more for me to try to plan for a second surgery with a doctor I feel comfortable with. I am not sure if anyone has experienced any other options around navigating living on blood thinners and a non estrogen birth control, other than coming entirely off the birth controls and blood thinners to not worry about potential blood clots. I am open to hearing any stories you feel comfortable to share of any options around blood thinners and birth controls you have experienced. Thank you for your help.
