problems with cataract surgery
I went for my cataract op today. I thought I was in the theatre for a long time and discovered that part of the cataract had gone into the back of my eye and they could not retrieve it or put the new lens in. I was told that there is a 2% risk of this which could be worse if short sighted and receiving

Severe Rash associated with RA?
Has anyone ever had a severe rash which has been attributed to RA? I’m on day 7 of what the doctor initially thought was a drug allergy rash (due to an antibiotic antifungal mouth treatment) but it has continued to get worse. It’s flaming red, hot and itchy and is starting to peel. Currently covers 70%

He’s home! Hurrah!
Initially they were treating him for an infection and no
antibiotics
were touching it. It was only when they got the bone marrow culture showing Hodgkins transformation that he turned a corner. The ABVD chemo was a game changer.

Black sputum/phlegm/mucus
It comes and goes every few months or so and only stays for a few days max - I’m usually put back on
antibiotics
but it always comes back eventually. Is it worth going back to the GP for what feels like the thousandth time or is it most likely harmless and just something strange with my lungs?

I’m doing better
I am thinking the fact I am responding to the
antibiotics
is a good sign. I don’t plan on being compliant with my diet in the meantime.

My doctor doesn't think its infected but has given
antibiotics
just incase. I've also lost the sensation of peeing, don't know if anyone else experienced this? I'm just praying for improvement in the coming weeks!

Running after several illnesses!
On my return I had cellulitis in my lower left leg and ended up on
antibiotics
for 4 weeks. Following this I had a bad cold, recovered, and went for a run. I repeated run 1 from week 5 and felt OK. The next day, I tested positive for COVID!

Asthma uncontrolled post covid
Each time I’ve been given
antibiotics
and steroids sometimes 2 courses back to back. The time between exacerbations and infections are becoming shorter and shorter.

Sigh, GP knowledge...
The other two respond to certain
antibiotics
. Mine needs a very limited diet. Anyway, a small piece of salmon baked with lemon & herbs really set if off on sunday, lets just say my digestive system went into overdrive both ways, what a miserable night.

Denied medical care because of GCA and Actemra.
ENT was planning on full course of
antibiotics
then surgery. Adenoids causing sleep apnea. BP is 180/103, No combination of meds will control it. Am showing signs of heart failure. I mentioned to ENT during visit that I had GCA and was on Actemra.

Sigma Pharma T3 - Any side effects?
I've been putting it down to having my Covid Booster last Sunday and only just having got over a chest infection requiring
antibiotics
. But I hadn't thought about the T3.

Mis-diagnosed infection
Not sure where to begin, but three weeks ago, after my Avonex injection (12 hrs. later) I noticed two leisons on my skin right about where my injections have been. One leison was draining & both areas were pink & painful. I couldn't figure out what it was. Asked my husband to take me to the ER because

I had a chest infection about 2 months agoWhich I started taking
antibiotics
for. It felt better but weeks back I started having back pains, pains at the sides of my ribs, chest pain around my sternum and directly above my heart.
