does anyone have interstitial cystitis?
I have been experiencing pain when peeing for coming up to a year now. I have got my urine tested probably over 8 times over the past year. Every time it comes back clear, or they tell me to take an antibiotic and then send my urine off to the lab but then it comes back normal. I feel a ripping, burning

Just like busses...!
Yesterday, I felt the steroids and
antibiotics
were doing something as I felt better after starting them on Monday, but today that bubble seems to have burst!

New antibiotic "cocktail" can help combat superbug
The researchers note that the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the use of
antibiotics
, even though SARS-CoV-2 is not affected by
antibiotics
because it is a virus and not a bacterium. However, giving
antibiotics
helps COVID-19 patients to avoid secondary bacterial infections.

Due to Finish Steroids but Still Covid Positive
As an aside, when I spoke to GP he also mentioned
antibiotics
to me if needed but he felt that it would be too soon at that point. As my temperature has stayed down since day 2, I’m not coughing anything up and it feels like it’s all way more sinusesy (clear not coloured either!)

I've had some bites on my back and they've gone septic, not responding to the first lot of
antibiotics
. is this a standard problem for Cllers ,ie they've less immunity than usual.

Recently Diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa
Hi all! Was wondering if anyone else who has chronic kidney disease has been diagnosed with this? It’s truly awful and something else that never goes away and is worrisome. I’m in stage 3B currently and things seem to be going bad quickly here lately. This is another battle for me that will have to

Antibiotics
Hi After having Covid just over 8 weeks ago, with which I had very very bad chest, just being to doctor as still not right, only to find out I have fluid on one lung, so need

Dental hygienist - OK with potential value issue (PVS?)
I read somewhere that this means you might be put on
antibiotics
around dental procedures. Would this include a scale and polish? Maybe I should call ahead and give them a heads up... Folk with valve challenges - what's your experience of this? Thanks!

Pancreatitis In the ICU VENTIALTOR
He also got phenomena that are being treated with
antibiotics
. They said he should be fine but does have a bit of a fever. He has puffy eyes and is being given eye drops to keep the fluid out of his sight. The doctors think this came from his coughing.

my GP said it’s OK to take

whilst using MTX. I am completely confused. I haven’t started MTX yet as I’m coping with a UTI.

Constant oral thrush on Fostair
Usually Nystatin works but this time (after finishing
antibiotics
) it’s not budging. GP suggested different inhalers (dry powder) but both contained lactose & I am allergic to milk. I’m at a loss what to do to stop it continually happening. Can anyone suggest anything please that might help?

Praise for an overwhelmed NHS
I had a severe infection requiring oxygen around the clock and IV
antibiotics
. The team there were amazing. They had to deal with some very ‘challenging’ patients and did so constantly with dignity and respect. The system is broken.
