Hi thought I'd ask for advice I'm confused from recent diagnosis.

I had up until 2018 Asthma the only issue was winter with 2-4 courses of Antibiotics, Steriods.

2018 started to see chest specialist due to recurring infections, 2019 was worst had 12 courses of Antibiotics Steriods.

I'm also immune compromised having biologics medication for Ibd ulcerative colitis.

Was wondering how can I go from Asthma to Copd Crossover.

Had lung function tests in 2019

Moderate Airway Obstruction to:

Minimal Airway Obstruction in.2020.

Think mine is immune based, rarely use blue inhaler walk 2 miles plus shopping.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Waiting to see Ent from 2019, nose bleeds, hoarse throat dust mite allery had Ige blood test.

Had endoscopy 2019 Dec, then ent discharged me. Gp 2020 referred me back.

I am not a doctor, but having 12 courses of steroids and antibiotics in one year points towards not being on the proper maintenance medications, in my opinion. You mention a rescue inhaler and walking 2 miles a day (good for you), but you say nothing about long-acting bronchodilators such as Spiriva and Symbicort. I would discuss with your pulmonologist adding a LAMA and a LABA to your daily meds.
