strange feeling

wondering if anyone can help for about 4 months now I have had a stitch like feeling that comes and goes in kidney area! I see doctor who said not to worry all seems fine 🤷‍♀️. So I made another appointment had bloods and kidney function was ok! Since then I still have the stitch feeling, have had UTI and antibiotics and again still the same!! I’m due to have more bloods on 31st this month for kidney function again, just wondering if anyone else has had anything similar. Thank you x

As long as your labs are normal...I wouldn't worry about it. Sounds like a muscle pull. If you had another symptom show up then go back to see your doctor.

Early CKD you usually don't have any symptoms. Kidneys themselves don't cause pain unless you have an infection, a kidney stone or an obstruction.

Thank u I was wondering if maybe a kidney stone! I’m gonna wait till after my next labs on 31st then mention to doc that feeling/ sensation still here maybe they will scan it or do something else then, doesn’t hurt just uncomfortable.

I have had a kidney stone and the pain is excruciating! If it has been going on for awhile...believe me it is not a stone. The pain is worse than labor. If you had a stone you would have gone to the Emergency Room because the pain would be so bad! An ultrasound would show if there was a blockage. Have you had any previous surgery? Could have adhesions or nerve pain.

Oh ok defo not a stone then as I have no pain! Just discomfort. I have only ever had a C-section but that was 20 years ago x

Hi, that is annoying for sure.I can feel my left kidney aching a bit everyday and it bothers me with my stage 3.

I have sever anxiety about meal prep. There is conflicting information out there about what is allowable, even from medical sites. To bean or not to bean, is the question. Some say to eat beans others say , no to them.

I hope the stitch you feel will disappear soon.
