Nitrofurantoin Antibiotics up date
I have been really frightened this last week. I thought I might be seriously ill. So many of my symptoms have returned in such a short time. A swift full on comeback of anxiety and exhaustion where I don't even want to wash myself. Even got oral thrush. Can't believe this.I've seen a doctor who did listen

how long to recover
I usually carry on working as long as I can when I’m on steroids and
antibiotics
but I have been off work for a week and I feel guilty. 2 courses of pred down and still wheezy. I think I will need another course but it is getting better.

Help with frequent chest infection
Every time I go away I end up with
antibiotics
for chest infection. On a visit to my daughter in Australia. Last Christmas I ended up in hospital with pneumonia. I have recently been in hospital here with the same thing plus Covid!

so so sore :( - has horrible photo attached of infected incision sites
I had my davinci xi laparoscopic excision surgery on Friday last week so today is 6 days post surgery and my incision sites have gotten more infected even though I’m on
antibiotics
. My GP referred me to my consultant and it’s taken 3 days to get in. I’m so sore.

Ding Ding…Round Three.
More surgery and three months of IV
antibiotics
put me back on track again. I’d lost most of my sight and that took a year or so to return….it’s pretty good now, good enough to drive again…hooray. Never thought I’d miss traffic jams.

FLARE & SICK DAY RULES OUT THE WINDOW FOR NEW GP
I was at ER yesterday and now on
antibiotics
. Day before I had asked her about upping the Pred until I'm feeling better or healed. I was at 14 mg. because I'm tapering. She was wondering why not an even "5" number. Anyway she wants 20 mgs. for a month then a drop to 17.5 for a month, etc.

Infection after minor procedure
They gave me a course of
antibiotics
for 5 days. I’m worried this could turn into something worse given I was told to be really careful about infection when diagnosed with cirrhosis. Has anyone had something similar and infection cleared as it should? I’m in augmentin. Thanks.

Past my sell by date!
And of course
antibiotics
are the quickest answer - - I think! But I just can’t get them. I rang my HC yesterday and I was told there were no slots available so I rang 111 They made a referral to my H C last night. I’ve just rung my HC again and I was told some one will contact me in 24 hours!

T4, T3 and TSH results
I feel I am going around in circles, although, I have recently had a steroid injection and strong
antibiotics
which may have caused under activity? Some weight gain also. Has current brand of thyroxine caused this? (Accord).

So again I’m waiting for doctor to ring and desperately needing my
antibiotics
and more steriods. This is the longest I’ve had to wait and I’m quite annoyed as they have my notes they know my history if they read just a small amount. To top it off I’ve got no heating or hot water .

Viral meningitis
Initially she was given antiviral and
antibiotics
because they was unsure if it was bacterial meningitis. She had been unwell for 5 or 6 weeks. Permanent headache that painkillers didn't touch.

Microbiota-targeted treatments, such as
antibiotics

I've a permanent sore throat and think I need
antibiotics
again. I get really out of breath on any activity. I am gluten and dairy free and not able to eat tomatoes or peppers I'm still 6.5 stones 44kg since July. I feel like my health is getting worse.

Do exacerbations follow exacerbations?

antibiotics
. Before my time in hospital, I'd never even been on an inhaler! I'm now worried that every time I get a cold it's going to become an emergency...
