Chilblain lupus and potential ulcerated blisters
I have been to see my gp today ( at the rheumatology helpline's suggestion) and I have been prescribed
antibiotics
. The doctor is concerned because the main blister that looks infected doesn't hurt when it's touched and he thinks it is becoming ulcerated .

Does this look like lupus rash?
I’m on
antibiotics
to help prevent infection, strong antihistamine, betamethasone ointment to help soothe and clear it. I already used Dermol wash. He’s thinking autoimmune/SLE lupus. I’ve got fibromyalgia, psoriatic arthritis, diabetes etc.

Don't know what's real anymore...
I have had
antibiotics
which didn't touch it, then steroids which cleared it up enough to go to work. However, 8 days ago it started again coughing, being sick, losing my voice, sore chest - I went to a walk in centre and they told me I had a wheezy chest and gave me more steroids.

Clarithromicyn and Afib
I've had a nasty chest infection, had 2 courses of
antibiotics
and now been prescribed Clarithromicyn as a 3rd just to help clear up any infection still lingering in the upper respiratory tract (my lungs are now clear). The info leaflet says not to take if you have heart rythym issues.

thought I was out of the woods!
Been on
antibiotics
now for a day. Was awoken this morning to my Apple Watch telling me I had a high heart rate (it was 120!) I thought uum I think I might know why. Yep here we go again, Afib episode. My pulse is around 130. Going to take my meds now see if the bisoporol brings it down.

cough
Took two different
antibiotics
which knocked it back but not out.,then I started Ibrance and the cough returned. Again two different
antibiotics
and it is much less but not gone. Sometimes I cough up clear phlegm, although much less now that I just finished the second antibiotic.

Health records diagnosis confusion…..
I am currently fighting a chest infection which has really floored me, on steroids and
antibiotics
and using inhalers when needed……but what really got me when I had to visit my doctors last week for this was that my (ACOS) Asthma COPD overlap syndrome had not been recorded on the system!

Is it safe to take antibiotics while on Ibrance and Letrozole?
A quick question about taking
antibiotics
while on Ibrance and Letrozole. I am on vacation right now and unfortunately is experiencing toothache with swollen gums.

Stopped taking MTX
Had a hell of a Christmas and took my last dose 6 tabs on a Monday The effects of MTX outweighed the cause and having a bad chest infection needed
antibiotics
. Doctor suggested stop MTX whilst taking them I have a Rheumy appointment next week to discuss my future and what needs to be taken.

Anyone had this?
I was diagnosed with a lower tract respiratory infection and a few days later, pleurisy and I was prescribed
antibiotics
. This did not clear it so I was given a course of steroids. My bloods showed no infection but I was coughing up green phlegm.

Yes I say I was expecting
antibiotics
. Friendly guy this and he says yeah that’s strange I’m going to get a prescription for
antibiotics
into the chemist in the next twenty minutes. I’m finally delighted and tell him so.

cold and sweaty balls
I have been past a week on this ointment containing
antibiotics
but I don’t feel any change. I normally don’t use underwear but I am so the humidity is kept on the underwear so I prevent the irritation to come back. Please any advice would be appreciated. thank you Tony

Pain at it's highest level (2)
I was given steroid paid killers injection and
antibiotics
via intravenous and medicine to take home. I had more blood tests today and the inflammation level was at 40, a huge drop from 164, the seem to very pleased that the swelling had gone down considerably and not much pain just uncomfortable.

Missed MTX dose..
hi this is my first time missing a dose as I’m on
antibiotics
for an infection. I was supposed to have my dose on Tuesday. I’m only on 20mg. Last night I couldn’t sleep due to the pain in my legs. They were so achey and tight and stiff. They drove me mad.

GP provided 3 days of
antibiotics
for chest infection which did not help. I took him to a&E one evening when he couldn't lay flat and was struggling to breathe, on checking his stats, his HR was 167.
