All I can say is thank goodness for
antibiotics
. After 3 days in hospital I am now home as a patient of a virtual ward. I send in my obs twice a day by a nifty bit of kit and someone reviews them.

This time the GP prescribed antihistamine and steroids and
antibiotics
and referred me urgently to Dermatology having sent a photo, saw Rheumatology consultant who did the same.

Abnormal EMMA test, trying to decide whether to Retest
I've been prescribed 10 days of
antibiotics
and then probiotics, and have the option to go straight into FET a couple of weeks after treatment finishes, or to retest to check if it's worked and lose another couple of months.

He also told me to stop taking
antibiotics
which I have been taking 3 times a week. Looks like I have to wait to see of I contract COVID re anti virals. Again not sure how they might interact. Sorry for long post. Tony.

This on the back of many many many years of
antibiotics
. He also said they use probiotics in Germany when prescribing
antibiotics
but we don’t because it’s ‘controversial’. I absolutely give up on them I really do.

IBS meds not working....
The GP I saw thought I might have an infection in my womb and gave me pretty strong
antibiotics
and swabbed me but that came back normal and I stopped the
antibiotics
, after having 50 toilets(yes 50!) within 8 days the pain started to subside. Any advice on anything else I can do to help?

Biologics
They’re saying the high doses of inhaled steroids are the cause of my infections, but I’m colonised with pseudomonas and have nebulised
antibiotics
to keep under control.

2x Emergency Steroids in one month
I went to the dr on Tuesday and he was reluctant to prescribe me anything because I'd just had a course of steroids but I was back again today and, for the first time in my memory, my PF was at 50%, my O2 wouldn't go above 95% and I had that elusive wheeze 🥳 so I'm back on steroids and also

Encephalitis
My daughters journey , Tanya was first diagnosed with a UTI , she was put on
antibiotics
for 3 days , after day2 she had no change and we took her to hospital, that evening she was diagnosed with encephalitis. They then moved her to an assessment ward who let her deteriorate for a week .

Since I was bragging about this, I actually had to take it two days in a row to get rid of this latest UTI ... still better than
antibiotics

Anyone gone through the treatment for H Pylori bacteria?
I am currently taking
antibiotics
for treatment, and at the same time dealing with depression and anxiety. I realize that each individual reacts differently to medications but wanted to ask if anyone here was successful with their treatment even if dealing with a lot of anxiety.

is Symprove really worth the cost?Dietician has recommended it to me
l have also been taking prophylactic
antibiotics
on a low dose for years, so the dietician is recommending Symprove to help with this and my very limited choices I now have with food. Would Symprove in theory, work to some extent with the symptoms I have?

First asthma attack
Now I am on steriods,
antibiotics
, and inhalers got an appointment for a asthma nurse. Told to ring 999 next time. Where did this come from scared, confused 😕 Is it a good idea to get all my questions ready for the nurse will she answer them? Or will she be just doing tests.
