Chest infection at asthma review appointment.
I have had green phlegm since March last year and had lots of
antibiotics
for crackles on lung. Sputum samples have been normal. I had my asthma review and on the appointment, my temp was 37.8, high pulse and CRP of 8.5 so GP reviewed me and heard crackles on right side so gave me doxycycline.

Round the clock care with Jon struggling for breath, soaring temp and only home
antibiotics
we struggled through the weekend. Surprisingly he began to pick up and 7 days later sepsis had reversed leaving pneumonia. He began to perk up and asked to be washed followed by trips to his chair.

After returning home I still felt quite ill, ended up being taken back to the hospital and I had a repeat attack of sepsis, so once again weeks of tests and
antibiotics
I had the ICD removed and was allowed home a week later.

I was wondering if anyone has had prophylactic
antibiotics
when they travel to prevent infections from bites.

Bacteria in portcatheter
.:((( They just gave me first 1 hour and half of
antibiotics
and then will get a pick it seems. Anyone had similar experience of bacteria in the portcatheter ( still really in the beginning according to them)? Does it heal the portcatheter and goes to normal?Does it take long?

3 weeks post CABG surgery
He was given IV
antibiotics
then oral
antibiotics
and was discharged after 5 days. He’s been home just over 2 weeks now and has been to the GP and his lungs are clear. His chest is sore but the pain is manageable with paracetamol.

Antibiotics!
Since being at the dentist for a gum abscess, I’ve had a course of
antibiotics
which is hellish. I’m suffering with side effects until Tuesday night so treadmill workouts are on hold till then. Unfortunately, we don’t appreciate health until we lose it!!!!

This was after original surgery and heavy
antibiotics
for 6 weeks. He lost 20 pounds, has no energy at all, can't eat, no appetite. He just got out of the hospital last week. They did all tests as liver enzymes were elevated. Thank God no cancer in liver, they think it was from

A Win for the NHS - today at least & Questions for you
Of course the answer is NO to the stains but I do know that some
antibiotics
will affect the efficacy of some of the drugs used to treat AF. Do you know which?

So happy
Sent sputum off to see how long he'll need
antibiotics
. Physio said he's strong so coming daily instead of every other day. Tomorrow they'll have him standing again plus marching on the spot. Put him back to bed now as physio wore him out, but used the hoist overhead with him pulling up himself.

Epididymitis or something else?
I can’t feel any lumps and it feels smooth but feels as though the shape is slightly different and definitely larger, and it seems to be sitting higher in my sack than usual, so I have seen the dr this morning regarding it, and after an exam he has put me on a two week course of
antibiotics
of doxycycline

It turned out that my husband still had a 'collection' in his lower bowel which had become infected and the hospital put him on a course of
antibiotics
. He is now eating and doesn't feel cold half as much, however, we have a couple of issues where we would appreciate your advice/comments.

Bile duct dilation due to steroids
SO could this be due to the steroids I am taking, or as they had been pumping me with
antibiotics
due to those. All blood tests and liver tests btw came back as normal. Now awaiting endoscopy and mri scan. thank you for any replies
