back in hospital again!

I had a bad migraine on Monday so was dehydrated. At about 7pm I slipped off the edge of the bed. When Rachel and I realised I wasn’t going to be able to get up she phone for an ambulance, which arrive at 3 am. Because I’d been on the floor for over 7 hours I had to be admitted to hospital. I was in the ambulance for another 7 hours in an ambulance queue and a shortage of beds I’m now in a cubical waiting for intravenous antibiotics!

This is not good but seems to be the norm for hospitals now. I hope you get better soon and they figure out what is going on soon x

Oh bless you. What a horrible experience again. Here's hoping the antibiotics and rehydration work their magic pdq and you get home again.

They’re thinking I’ll be out on Thursday, whis is better than the 10 weeks I was in last time!

This has been caused purely because the NHS is broken - 8 hours for an ambulance, then in a queue at an and e, where I was transferred to 3 different ambulances as each crew finished.

the annoying thing is that I don’t feel I’ll, and it’s the fact that the ambulance took so long to come meant I had to be hospitalised. I was in for 10 weeks last year but I hope it won’t be that long this time.
