It does seem to ease slightly after taking 10mg
amitriptyline
. I have not received my next appointment with rheumatologist. Just wondering if I need to speak to my GP to see if I need to increase steroids. Thanks

Aimovig
I've been fortunate to be given Aimovig to try, does anyone know if you continue with your preventative tablets, i.e
amitriptyline
and propanolol or come off them altogether? Thanks

Pain relief during Period
I recently started taking codeine and
amitriptyline
when it got to point I couldn't cope anymore. This was about 3 weeks ago. It doesnt remove the pain its still bad but takes a small edge off sometimes and I figure I needed to give it a full month.

Right shoulder pain made worse by mirena
The lower dose of hormone is not controlling the pain though so I am now on the pill AND mirena plus daily
amitriptyline
to control the pain. has anyone experienced similar? I’d love to know your experiences.

He's also increased my
Amitriptyline
from 10mg taken once at night time to 30mg taken once at night time. Now on Wednesday I was sweating even more, although I know the weather has been quite warm but I knew the sweating was due to more than heat.

Hi all My GP suggested 10mg of
Amitriptyline
for my neck tension/pain and tension headaches - I took my first dose last night and slept much better but feel pretty dizzy and light headed this morning, annoyingly on top of the cervicogenic dizziness I already have!

Hi Saw GP yesterday for my ongoing IBS type symptoms (not officially diagnosed) I have diverticulosis though. He has prescribed me a low dose of the above medication, which I’ve yet to start taking. Has anyone on here taken them for IBS? I would love to hear your thoughts & experiences.

Tablets - zopiclone/amitriptyline
I wondered if I should check about
amitriptyline
instead , as I have taken this before (prior to suffering tinnitus) so am more comfortable knowing I’ve never had an issue with it. Has anyone had a problem with tinnitus after taking
amitriptyline
?

constant pain
Today I am taking through my GP mebeverine and low dose
amitriptyline
which means I now cannot feel pain or not much but it worries me as to the cause of constant pain in the first place.

Flare with normal blood inflammation levels ?
I began my PMR journey last February albeit unknowing what my condition was then, initially unable to get a correct diagnosis I was first prescribed Nefopam and
Amitriptyline
which had no effect to my symptoms, the
Amitriptyline
actually made me worse.

IBS and Amitriptyline
I have started taking
Amitriptyline
10mg a day for Post infectious IBS-D. The whole week was ok with no symptoms but since yesterday, it started again while I ate some food out of my diet routine. My question is do I need to stick to low FODMAP diet while taking medicine or can I eat any food?
