Amitriptyline - ATLANTIS clinical trial
Can anyone explain to me why money has been spent on a clinical trial for
amitriptyline
in relation to IBS, when this has been prescribed for IBS and specifically IBS pain for years already?

Pain Management Options
Private GP recommended ongoing physio but nothing with regards to pain management except try
amitriptyline
. The pain is really getting to me and even the MRI was an ordeal as my legs and arms went numb! Please can anyone advise what they tried to help alleviate symptoms with spinal/neck pain.

Neuropathy treatment with POTS/postural hypotension?
The common options like pregabalin and
amitriptyline
apparently often affect autonomic function and I have postural hypotension so was wondering if anyone has tried any that worked?

HELP Please
So she said she would give me something to help with pain and help sleep, and when I got them they are
amitriptyline
. Should I take this or is this going to make matters worse? I am on 1mg of Ropinirole and have been on this since 2017, had no follow up reviews.

Advice
The doctors just put you on betahistine or
amitriptyline
or alprazolam or any anti depressants they say it helps reduce tinnitus or improve blood flow to inner ear. This is the same process that is used , but technology is moving on so why are we taking the same medication!

teeth clenching
I take
amitriptyline
and once I get to sleep midnight to 1am, I’m out for the count. I think the dentist told me September 2023 that I was clenching my teeth.

I believe the fluoxetine and
amitriptyline
are making my rls much worse. I’m taking the fluoxetine for depression and pain following failed back surgery. The
amitriptyline
is for interstitial cystitis. I tried coming off fluoxetine very gradually over six months but my rls was no better.

pain relief
I have pills coming out of my ears at the moment and even contemplating taking
amitriptyline
today but am not happy taking all these meds as everything has side effects eventually and do not like the idea of taking what are happy pills, though a means to an end. Thank you.

I've been prescribed Amitriptyline for pelvic pain. Has anyone had success with this medication?
It's an 18 month wait.So, I've been prescribed
Amitriptyline
and he wants me to trial Prostsap again. Which I'm nervous to do, as it was the add back hrt that caused my major flare. Has anyone had success with
Amitriptyline
. I'm hoping it will help with the leg pains 🙏
