I wondered if anyone else had experienced referred right shoulder pain as a result of endometriosis? They think it is growing on my diaphragm as the pain comes and goes with my cycle. I went back on the pop to control it but the Dr suggested mirena coil instead. The lower dose of hormone is not controlling the pain though so I am now on the pill AND mirena plus daily amitriptyline to control the pain.
has anyone experienced similar? I’d love to know your experiences.
I had a lap several years ago to remove endo and cysts but I think it’s a bit more complicated to remove it from my diaphragm.

Hi there, I didn't get shoulder pain but in my collarbone and terrible indigestion that I told doctors coincided with my cycle, unfortunately they fobbed me off. I was also put on mirena but it made little difference to the pain I experienced, in fact it made me feel really ill, I think I was intolerant to it, headaches, rashes, hives. I hope you get better answers and treatment than you are currently getting, can you ask to be referred to an endo specialist?, The GP's seem to see mirena as a cure all but when given for endo my thoughts are that it doesn't help, it won't make it go away.
