Hi guys, just wanted to see if any other endo sufferers struggle with hip pain. Recently it’s become very intense, just on my left side but when I weight bear I get shooting pains that stop me in my tracks. I get a lot of back and leg pains too. On amitriptyline as well as regular tramadol but still currently unable to go to work. Any advice on how to help with these painful symptoms? Thank you in advance 💛

Hip Pain..
yes, mines in my left hip also. My endometriosis is wrapped around the ligaments and I’ve been told that’s what’s causing it. Having a second surgery tomorrow so hopefully things will ease!
Have you tried any physio therapy or pelvic floor therapy?
I go to a holistic chiro and she helps with my joint pain. I have it too my hips are dreadful at times and thighs bum cheeks ache calves everything! I have Oramorph when it gets really bad just to have a break from it.
Yes I had very bad left hip pain, it turned out that the endometriosis had blocked my left kidney and that was what was causing the pain. It probably isn't that, but I would get your bloods checked to make sure your kidney function markers haven't dropped (unless kidney damage is caught early, it is irreversible, which is unfortunately what happened to me). I haven't found anything that helps massively with the pain unfortunately, but if you find something that works please let me know ☺️.
I did find that changing my diet to an endo friendly diet and having daily kefir helped improve some of my other endo symptoms, but sadly not the hip pain ☹️. X
Yes my left hip and leg is exactly the same sudden sharp shooting pain and can't walk without limping. Was only prescribed amitryptaline this month but hesitate to use it as I have heard it can leave you like a zombie.
I go to a beginners yoga class once a week to try to do some exercise as o find my energy level are crap no matter what I do I have a very good diet and a good sleep routine
I’m sorry you’re experiencing this too, it’s so painful. I’m gonna have a look on you tube for some beginners yoga and give that a try x
I'm just grateful to you for sharing your thoughts on this as I thought it was just me. Its really debilitating and worst part is the unpredictability of the pain and the ferocity of it. Sometimes I find in yoga I can't do certain things as the hip and lower back is not happy about it but I do what I can. Hope it helps you and you feel some relief. Hugs
Hey! I do get hip pain sometimes too. My Endo is deep pelvic, so it affects my hips. Shooting pains down leg could be sciatica x
